As a Monmouth County resident Better Housekeeping Shop in Red Bank has been my go to appliance center for years. I have used them several times now for various projects. I have bought both appliances and grills from them over the last 25 years. They are so helpful and knowledgeable on what is the best fit for your space, usage and budget. Their honesty and professionalism is astounding. Their communication is outstanding on timeframe, delivery and set up. The guys they sent to set up all of the appliances are respectful of your time and home. They are very knowledgable on how to show you how everything works. I recommend them time and time again and will continue using them.

Had a wonderful experience here when purchasing a new fridge. Derek was knowledgeable, professional, and went above and beyond to get information on different fridge handles that we were interested in. Communication was clear and delivery/install smooth. Pricing also better than other stores. Would highly recommend.

Purchasing appliances here was the worst experience we’ve ever had. We purchased a Cafe refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher and a LG washer and dryer in November, 2022. Brian told us everything could be delivered December 7, 2022 with the exception of the stove which was on back order. We agreed, all was fine.Delivery day came and it was horrific. The appliances were scratched. The refrigerator was scratched inside/outside, has crumbs inside. The washer was badly damaged. The dryer was incorrectly connected, missing the black required connector listed in the appliance manual. Our electrician discovered this when he had to pull out the units because the washer wouldn’t work.We called Brian on the day of delivery to express the damages. He said the house had a spiral staircase and that was why things were scratched. That’s untrue. He said file a warranty claim on the damages because the store isn’t responsible. He sent another company to verify damages to file the warranty claim. The man asked me if we bought the refrigerator used? I said no, we bought and paid for new appliances from Better Housekeeping in Red Bank. I asked him why they sent another company for this? He couldn’t answer, agreed that it was not ordinary practice.It’s January. Nothing has been done to correct situation. We are left with a seemingly used refrigerator, scratch and dent at best sold for new, a beat up washer, incorrectly installed dryer (fire hazard), and not even as much as a follow up call to try to make it right from the Better Housekeeping store (Brian).Sharing just a few images. This is the best place to purchase appliances. I went to several large box stores and they were out of stock on the gas range I was looking for. Then I called Better Housekeeping and they had it in stock and at a lower price. They offer free delivery and free take away old appliance. The sales person was so attentive and my range was delivered in four days. Their delivery crew was right on time and did an excellent job hooking up the new range. They were neat and did a great job. I highly recommend Better Housekeeping and they will be my first choice from now on for all new appliances. Thank you.

The worst experience that our family has ever had with an appliance store. The sales part was a routine, went seemingly easy. On delivery day; however, the horrific experience started. The installer took nearly 4 hours for a dishwasher installation and it's still setting lopsided and he dented the dishwasher front when he overtightened the handles. The refrigerator was delivered in what appeared used condition, scratches, dried crumbs in crisper, scratched front that had been touched up with paint, etc ... it was nearly $4,000.00 refrigerator. The installers left. The store, Brian, will not do anything to make it right. he suggested we contact GE for warranty help. The service is horrific.

We've used Better Housekeeping for years for all our appliance needs - competitive pricing, super helpful especially when my fridge died and there were still backlogs from the pandemic. The fridge they had in stock and recommended ended up to be fabulous! We are now redoing a kitchen again and did not hesitate to use them yet again!

As a long time customer of the Better Housekeeping Shop, I have purchased a number of high-end appliances, including a Sub Zero Refrigerator and most recently, a Dacor Oven and Cooktop. I have always found people, like Brian in sales, to be very knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant to deal with. Members of the delivery and installation staff have always very professional and courteous. Keith, who recently faced a challenge of installing the Dacor cooktop into a thick butcher block counter top did an outstanding job. Overall, I have always been very happy with the products service provided by the Better Housekeeping team.

The woman was short on the phone and seemed to not want to help. I said our LG washer isn't working and she said call LG, she didn't even seem interested in selling us a new washer and just wanted off the phone. They sell LG too..."we don't look at LG" edit: I saw your reply and glad you took notice, we are going to buy a washer and dryer somewhere and if not for that woman on the phone it would have been business with you. Thanks for the response.

What a great company!! Been around since 1939! Can't beat that.They showed up when they said they would. The guy was completely knowledgeable, knew what the problem was (gas dryer not heating up). Fixed it.Great company!

Not sure if I was ever taken seriously or whether the store just did not need the residential business. But on Tuesday, I cancelled the first of 3 orders which would have totaled $35,000 in business for this store. My wife informed the store owner, that we were recommended from a local building store and that we had a significantly large order. He in turn handed us off to his sales rep to take care of us. Well to their misfortune, we experienced extremely poor customer service, no follow up from the sales rep after many calls, and an owner never available to speak to us to resolve the issue. Thus, we took our $35,000 order elsewhere and unfortunately it is not local. Local business say they want business but I have not found one business that I have recently worked with are worth considering in the future. Rather, I find most to be complacently smug, lazy, and take your business and theirs for grant.
