Joel is a true craftsman and master of his trade.After a bad experience with an online jeweler (poor craftsmanship & diamond setting), I visited JMD to see about having my engagement ring setting remade. Both Joel and Bonnie were sympathetic about my unfortunate experience with the online jeweler and truly cared about me being 100% happy. We decided to remake my engagement ring and wedding band in platinum so that they would last me for years. Joel helped me with the design phase (I was very particular about how I wanted my ring to look & the diamond to be set) and then the rings went into production. Bonnie kept me updated through out the process and let me know when they were ready to be picked up. I am so glad to say MY RINGS ARE STUNNING! I am very detail orientated and my rings are just beautiful. I highly recommend JMD for any and all jewelry purchases or repairs. Thank you Bonnie & Joel!

I had brought some chains in that had become tangled and knotted from traveling and they were able to fix them right there on the spot! The owners are very friendly and we had enjoyed some nice conversation. They do a lot of custom work and I will definitely be going to them for all my future needs! Thanks!

Stupendous! That is my experience with JMDJewelry. Recently I was faced with a wedding gift decisionthat I felt was greatly fraught with a possible poor decision. My son was about to marry his Fiancé whomI have had little contact with and comes from a very different background from mine or my wife’s. Iengaged with Joel about my idea of a good present. He listened thoughtfully, then after paying attentionto my ideas, he suggested improvements based on his wealth of design experience.The result was an excellent piece. More importantly to my wife and I is our now daughter in lawabsolutely love the piece! She wears it almost daily. And she pays careful attention to her entireappearance at al times. I cannot more highly recommend JMD Jewelry!

Probably the best jeweler in the Fuquay area! I went in to get some education on my gems and jewelry. Though I was not a customer, Joel was friendly and willing to educate me. He really went above and beyond and KNOWS HIS STUFF.

10 years ago I stumbled upon JMD while in Red Bank, and since they have been my “go to” place. This year, I finally had the chance to get something custom designed after drooling over their work. They made my stone come to life, and I couldn’t be happier. If you know what you want, or just want them to make something beautiful- this is your place. We recently had the pleasure of working with Joel McFadden Designs. We were looking to reset my wife's engagement ring. She knew what she wanted but was not finding it. We visited JMD and immediately knew that we were going to work with them. Joel welcomed us and explained the process of having the ring done to our specifications. We had the pleasure of working with Jenn to customize the setting. We listened to her suggestions and she listened to us. We made a minor change to the initial design and were comfortable every step of the way. We were even invited to watch the amazingly talented Ian while he worked painstakingly on the details of the ring. The end result was a beautiful ring and exactly what we wanted. Not only are the staff at JMD talented, they are good people.

It is very difficult to come across a place, or business for that matter where you feel welcome, important and cared for, from the very beginning. JMD designs is exactly that.
My wife and I, were looking for our wedding bands, that were simple, classical with a custom touch. Soon after deciding not to risk and order through the internet as many of us do, we found JDM, and decided to stop by.
Surprisingly, we were very much greeted with welcoming warmth and no pressure at all. The information that we were provided from Jennifer about our wants and needs, you could not get online.
She was extremely patient and very knowledgeable about the craft of the jewelry business and rings in particular. She answered all and every question we had.
I like to think of my wife and I, that we are very picky, and extremely critical of customer service, because we have had received the best of it in the world, around the world.
Jennifer, Joel and Ian, outdone and exceeded all of the competition, especially in the jewelry department here in the US, wherever we have went before.
From the very first picture we have showed Jennifer, to the last fitting before finishing the wedding bands, the experience was pleasant, professional and a one-of Customer Comes first type thing, where you will not find anywhere else, especially in NJ.
If you want all your questions answered, guided with ease, and cared for throughout the process, with an amazing beautiful finished custom jewelry piece, JMD is the place you go.
They are very attentive to detail and especially the customers needs. They will meet any deadline, work with any budget and work extremely fast, where the quality does not suffer mind you. Any outrageous design you have, or the most simple design you have - they will make it come alive, and you will be extremely satisfied with the outcome more than you thought you would.
Thank you so much for making these beautiful rings for us, that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
