I would not recommend this company. As an professional that has used many agents for relocation, I was attracted to this company due to what appeared to be competitive pricing. Once they collected my items in London and the items were no longer in my control I found them to be dishonest with the quoting of the transportation cost and additional expenses. There in connection with the importation from UK to the US as it related to individuals left much to be desired. When I asked for clarification of my invoice and proof of the amounts they said they incurred on my behalf could not provide the evidence of the additional charges they said they incurred. They missed the deadline agreed for the arrival of my items due to their own delay which in turn lead me to incur additional costs of transportation when the items finally turned up. Like

Beware and Do not use this company ever. Everyone in the company lies starting from the rude Hilda who hanged up on me after I found out she used a different invoice for pricing my custom duty for me to pay a higher fee. Once I confronted her about the discrepancies, she never apologized but said she was gonna put in the right info. After a few hours, sent me a different custom duty to pay. Before I made the payment, i called her and she still insisted that i made the exact amount. I paid including same day charges for the transfer so that my goods will released. After payment, Hilda called me to tell me that I had to pay an additional fees. Asked her why she didn't disclose all the correct amount and her response was she Assumed I knew there would be extra changes. She told me she was going to hang up on me if I didn't accept the additional charges. I asked her for clarity and she indeed hanged up. Called back and got hold of Seraphim, he told me Hilda explained to her that the additional charges were for an FDA hold and if I didn't pay for it i wouldn't be able to receive my goods. He further transferred me to his boss John, john explained further and said i should pay the FDA hold plus additional charges. Again I paid for it. The next day Hilda sent me another email that all charges have been paid for and that there's another FDA hold and needed to pay before my goods will be delivered. Called them and Seraphim told me the additional charges were added on feom customs and if I didn't pay another amount of $140, my goods will not be cleared. Called John and he also said the additional charge was for the warehouse storage. I paid immediately again. Hilda sends another email that I need to pay $75 because its passed 3pm and they can clear the goods the next day and thats the additional charge which I paid again. In all i paid over $500 charges for empty bottles which i bought oversees for $418 and paid door to door shipping only to be ripped off by such a fraudulent company. Please be careful and don't fall victim as I did.

Bad attitude. We called them to help us with the goods release. They told us that we better call the government or santa for assistance. Very rude. We do not recommend working with them.

I used their services on my first time importing, and Stephen was very kind letting me know the next steps and explaining it all, without making me feel like I was wasting his time like a lot of other places when they see you’re new and literally inexperienced,

I'm not sure if my beef is with Crown International Forwarders, about whom I already posted a review, or with Troy, the shipper. The shipping document clearly shows a destination of Strasbourg, but I got hit with additional charges once my shipment arrived in France and was ultimately sent to a destination other than Strasbourg, causing me to incur additional charges. Also, two items arrived broken and I was never reimbursed. The bottom line: you're probably better off avoiding shipping with Troy.

Worst experience ever.... I've imported a lot of things and never once dealt with a company so un professional as Troy... they are a scam, took days to respond, which resulted in $700 of storage fees now.. they never pick up there phones, (answering machine says "out to lunch" all day long.. stay far away from them

DO NOT USE. They rejected my business check because 'it did not look like a business check'! As a result they took their sweet time responding to me, meanwhile they charging me close to $700 for 4 days for 'storage'. They claim that the warehouse charges them this amount and that they are a pass through. This is untrue, i later discovered it's their own warehouse from an employee. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
