Although I left Wells Fargo as a bank in general after being a client for 22 years, the corporate banking or phone banking has horrific customer service up to the executive level, among many other factors that caused me to leave, this particular Wells Fargo branch, however, was not too bad although there is definitely a reason that the majority of Reviews are one star. It appears that after Wells Fargo went through their lawsuits, the most recent being December 2022, a couple of years ago most services could be done by the banker sitting in front of you that is no longer the case most times they need to make a phone call and either they will speak on the phone or pass the phone to the client, it sort of made going into the branch a waste of time. With that said, the staff was generally quite friendly and helpful although it was slightly awkward how open it was between the two bankers while discussing personal finance matters with an unknown individual sitting 5 feet to your left making it slightly uncomfortable. I’m not sure how difficult it would have been to put up a partition. What’s the point of putting a cover over the screen if you can just listen to the conversation next to you? Although I’m sure it’s not the decision of the local branch, the interior is old and stuffy while there are quite a few banks that are strictly online now it feels like Wells Fargo is still stuck in the early 90s. I’m sure it’s bank procedure it was always quite uncomfortable when transacting large amounts of funds. I’m sure it’s probably policy, but it feels like everybody’s eyes are on you. I also felt that I had no privacy, after making a transaction and starting to walk away, the man standing behind me made a joke regarding the amount of the transaction I had just made. Again, I’m sure it’s just policy, but I always felt like I was interrogated when making a large deposit or withdrawal. For example, I deposited a significant check with an individual who signed it having a very simple signature. The teller had to call over another teller who called over a manager who then spent several minutes talking to me about the origin of the funds, and then between themselves about the signature. Granted it was a personal check, but it was coming from a large well-known Law firm. For example, at a separate, unnamed bank, I was given a private room to make the transaction, as well as securely walked to my car. I felt as though I was being secured and not interrogated. I always give credit where credit is due, and the bank manager during the day was always incredibly helpful and friendly, and was typically able to solve most issues. The two bankers sitting at the main desks always seemed to be different so it never felt like I could develop a relationship with one.

In looking at the negative reviews, I have to say to the readers of my review, that there must be something very wrong with those person's. They must be dissatisfied with themselves and generally angry, Because in this branch, the working professionals are the best of any branch of any bank I've been an account holder.I'm not saying that service isn't adequate in certainly situations in other banks, however, the Red Bank branch is the best, as are the other Wells Fargo branches. Now, hear this. Every person in the Red Bank branch has been, and have always been the very best in customer service. This is everyone, including the banking officers, branch managers and the tellers.Once entering the branch, one is warmly welcomed, and you will be asked " how can we help you?".The wait is never too long, at all. If you need one of the branch managers or the bank officers, you will be attended to in just minutes, most usually, uness they are already servicing a client with more of a nerd, or has a complicated matter to clear up.The drive in is very user friendly and you are through there easily and with efficiency.I have been treated as a member of the Wells Fargo family as soon as I walk through the doorSo, take my word for it. Ignore the negative people which leave a fictional account of their experiences, go there and open an account!Thank youRobert

poor customer service and very unprofessional staff- John Thomas Maegher( mortgage consultant and Sonny Webb (lending specialist) . i started working with them, provided all the documents they requested and documents that wasn't relevant to my loan application. Once i complied with their request never heard from them, called numerous times. after second week i reached to branch manager, John reached out after 4 days...needless to say at one point they didn't know where my documents were.

I do the majority of my banking with Wells Fargo. Savings, Checking, Mutual funds & credit cards. The tellers are great, they all know me. The wait is minimal between 9:00-11:30 am. Between 12:00-100 PM can be challenging but still not bad. Plenty of parking, they have coffee & lollipops. Very good.
