This is DEFINITELY not the place for anybody to be storing anything long term. I’ve tried so hard to get myself to like CubeSmart but they’ve made it soo difficult. I started renting in the beginning of 2023 for just $88 a month and it is now 2024 and according to them they sent a letter informing me of a rent increase (again) although I NEVER got anything, not an email or a letter through the mail. I am now required to pay $180 plus taxes and I don’t even have the biggest storage they have available. To add on, not only are you required to pay for a protection plan on top of that as well but they also charge you an extra $3 for making online payments. Aside from this, the website sometimes doesn’t even function properly when you try submit your payments and they end up charging you 2-3 times until you call and explain and have it refunded which is even more hassle. This whole company seems like a total rip off and it REALLY sucks that they don’t have a better system and consideration for their loyal customers. I started renting here because I was struggling financially and had nowhere else to place my belongings and I thought this was a good idea but with Cubesmart I’m struggling even more with these prices. I will be moving my items somewhere else where my loyalty, time and money are of value. No thank you for your service.
