“I recently renovated my mother's kitchen as a surprise for her while she was away on a trip. I bought all cabinets, counter top, and sink from Sterl. I was on a tight timeline to get the kitchen completed before she returned. I worked with Anthony, who was very patient and helpful as I tried to decide what style and color scheme I wanted to select. He also helped to make sure the deliveries were made on time to allow my contractor to complete all construction before my mother returned. As a family run business, I also interacted with Anthony's sister Teresa and father Anthony Sr. - they were all so great and treated me like family. The products are good quality and the customer service is exemplary. I plan to use Sterl again when we are ready to renovate my mother's bathroom. Highly recommend!”

Gevanta managed the construction and scheduling, and what stood out to me was how proactive he was.
Also, what I liked about them is that materials were already ordered and stored before demolition started, which avoided delays that friends of mine experienced with other contractors.
There were building inspections, shutoffs, and coordination with neighbors that I barely noticed because NYKB handled everything behind the scenes.

I walked into Ferguson’s Midtown showroom and asked to speak with a representative. By some fortunate coincidence, Janam was available. My husband and I were undertaking an extensive renovation of our Manhattan apartment and, without a designer, needed considerable guidance on plumbing fixtures, faucets, vanities, mirrors, and more. Janam was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process; our renovation lasted for over a year.
He is exceptionally bright, efficient, organized, knowledgeable, hardworking, and genuinely pleasant to work with. What makes him particularly stand out is his responsiveness and willingness to help. If something needed to be changed, he handled it promptly and without fuss. Even while on vacation several time zones away, he remained available and attentive to our needs.
Janam is meticulous, flexible, and remarkably adaptable. “I'm honestly surprised by some of the reviews saying this store is understaffed or that the employees aren't knowledgeable. I've lived in the neighborhood for years, and this has become one of my go-to stores. I appreciate that it's open 24/7, and I can usually find just about anything I need, whether it's something practical for a quick home repair or a nice candle or gift.
Every time I come in, there always seem to be several employees working, and I've never had trouble finding someone who could answer my questions or point me in the right direction.
I decided to leave a review after a really thoughtful experience today. I stopped in hoping to get some advice on fixing a tripod I'd purchased on Amazon. I wasn't expecting much beyond a recommendation, but I ended up walking out with it completely repaired. Chen and another employee (I'm sorry I didn't catch his name) took the time to help me, even though they were already assisting other customers. Together they figured out what was wrong, found the correct screw to secure everything, and had it working again in just a few minutes.
They didn't charge me a thing, they simply wanted to help. That kind of customer service is becoming harder to find these days, and I truly appreciated the extra effort. Their kindness made my day, and it's one more reason I'll continue shopping here.”

“HomeGoods is one of those stores where you can walk in without looking for anything specific and still find something worth taking home. There are always deals to be had, and the selection is constantly changing, which makes it interesting to browse.
The downside is that it can be difficult to find someone on the floor when you actually need help. Sometimes you’re on your own trying to find an item or get an answer.
Still, I enjoy visiting here. The selection keeps things interesting to keep me coming back.”
