“Really recommend this place!!! If u want to eat authentic japanese food this is the place to go to!! They have a huge court with 10+ options to choose from so u can try different types of japanese dishes! They also have one of the biggest asian supermarkets there is in the east coast where u can find anything u need, be it cosmetics, food related things and even cookware (even ricecookers)!”
“This is such a great market but they get weird during the cup because they wanna make money. It's a 5-star location because of how open and welcome it seems, until the games start. Then they put walls and board up the place to eat because everyone wants to watch the game, but not everyone is allowed to and that gives a very weird energy that doesn't match the good side of Brazil, but more the ugly, conservative side.
That aside, the products are all great and legitimate, the food is hyper regional and authentic and I would gladly go anytime they're not putting up walls and deciding who gets to watch the game

“I had such a positive experience at Lily's Vegan Pantry. Ever since moving out to the East Coast, I have wanted to stop in to see their variety of inventory, and I was finally able to get that opportunity. The store is located in Chinatown, and I originally walked in, said hello to the owner, and started to walk around to see the store. I started to take a few photos of the products they offered to post later to my "foodie" Instagram account when the owner came up to me as I was the only one in the store. Our conversation was very nice as I got to know a little about her background, as well as just have a casual conversation about all-things vegan/vegetarian. The store has been open for about 31 years now, and was originally created by the now-owner's parents, so the store has been family-run the entire time. The owner is vegetarian, but knows some great vegan spots in the area, as well as offer a great variety in vegan products. They have popcorn, beef jerky, Asian snacks, & a large selection of frozen/refridgerated vegan proteins. There is a good mix of more "mainstream" vegan brands, along with brands with delicious-looking vegan products. My only regret is that I didn't empty my entire wallet as to try everything in the store. I will 100% be back soon to try some of those vegan proteins. I highly recommend checking this store out if you're in Manhattan. The owners are extremely friendly, the store is very cute, & they have all the vegan foods you could ever ask for (especially if you liked Asian flavors!).”

“I always shop here, my parents even started shopping here faithfully. Sometimes we don’t know where an item is but the associates and cashiers always get us what we’re looking for. I’ve been shopping here for YEARS and I mostly cash out at the register with Stephanie. She always so welcoming and kind making sure I got everything I was looking for. She’s amazing!! I remember going there on her day off and was so disappointed that I missed her! Her personality was made for greeting guests and making this supermarket feel like home. 10/10 my fruits and veggies are always fresh and doesn’t spoil the next day.”

Thay have a full flishig take out department with a full choice of a few types of main dishes and a lot of side dishes, and thay have ready food in the fridge section as well.and thay have a fresh breakfast stations with fresh baked bagels and cakes and even pizza as well. Thay have a full line of fresh fish and sushi, and a full line of Continental meats and cold cuts, vary nice and clean store. open till late every day in the week.The store is really nicely kept. Last time I came here I had to go out because there is not a price on any thing at all in every aisle. There was a bounce house for the kids inside, I assumed to keep the kids entertained so mom's can shop for the littles. Was interesting to me. It was not crowded but at the same time it was.A big grocery with a big variety for of products. The Deli has very good and delicious food. Sushi is also very good. Also a good bakery and they have too a acai barThese beautiful, brand-new courts opened just a few weeks ago in the newly renovated East River Park. It might just be the prettiest courts in NYC, surrounded by trees and plants. There are even stone sitting areas for when the game gets exciting.”

“It's amazing that it's small and has everything. The other day I needed a light bulb that burned out and they had it. Another time I went to buy an ingredient I needed to make a cake and they had it. Always beautiful, clean and organized. Congratulations everyone!”

“Since moving to Tenafly, going to Tenafly Gourmet Farms has been one of my favorite things to do. Their produce is FRESH, and their pre-cut fruit bowls are delicious. For a local store they have such a large selection of product ranging from Italian, Jewish, Korean/Asian, Middle Eastern, Russian/Slavic, it’s truly amazing! They are also the only place I’ve been able to find my favorite marinaded feta cubes so they will have my business as long as they keep that stocked (I run through a jar a week!)”

I had always been nervous about pickled herring but was surprised to enjoy it as much as I did. We grabbed some cold wine from one of the other stalls and it was a perfect meal. Will be back!”

“I wish I was able to give Luz Agudelo a 10 Star instead of a 5! Reason why is because her overall customer service is something I have never experienced while at a supermarket! She went above and beyond for me while I had an issue with one of my orders and the way she handled my problem like it was hers; is the reason why I won’t shop at Walmart or any supermarket. I drive 15 minutes out of the way just to shop at the Food Bazaar in the North Bergen location!
It’s the small things that counts to & her kindly gesture is why I will stay loyal to Food Bazaar! I hope this gets her the recognition that she deserves!

“Matko boska! The selection and prices here are very good. I will return to this establishment and Polish district overall. I would however check the expiration date on things to make sure they aren't already expired before you buy. I bought about 50 items and I only found 1 or 2 that were expired but a few that would be expiring within the next 60 days. The other problem here is the lady that works there is from the communist Poland era so don't expect any good customer service skills. She seems annoyed at having to work here and isn't willing to help much, probably didn't get any Biden bucks.”

“ALDI delivers! First, I need to thank a college friend of mine who told me about this superstore. Also, there is a way to get delivery from ALDI, and you can do so in the Bronx as far as I know here. Communication is your best friend in this online world, and ALDI is more than happy to deliver. The lady who delivered was so kind and knocked to let me know that the groceries I purchased were here by my door, earlier than the expected time. Kindness goes a long way, and though a fee is included for delivery, I don’t mind it at all.”

“The staff at management at this store are very helpful. However, the corporate computer system deleted my loyalty account with all of my accrued points which could have been redeemed for 350$ in groceries. The corporate office is unreachable, they have not returned my messages via phone call or email. The managers at this food bazaar have tried to help me, but it has been 4 weeks now and i have tried to call corporate time and time again. They have not returned my emails, or contacted me about the known issue.
Edit: after posting this review, corporate has gotten in contact with me and resolved the issue satisfactorily. I am adjusting my review from 1 star to 5 stars because this food bazaar location and its in-building employees are fantastic and always helpful.”

“best kimchi i've had in the US. kimchi from lwe will go out of our way to buy this kimchi, albeit slightly expensive, for the quality. we can't eat kimchi from hmart anymore after having kimchi from here. the owner's history with her kimchi business is always very interesting to hear as well :)”
