I don’t write reviews but I really had to from this experience. I came here with a friend, and my friend was being helped with someone else and I was looking at other items and that’s where another worker was just following me EVERWHERE, like 4 feet away from me which is uncomfortable to shop. Two Korean people came in the store, a guy with a bag and a lady but never followed them. I had no bag, nothing. The guy could have just stole items while I was being watched. I’m Hispanic so I kinda find this a bit odd. The other hmarts that I go never given me that type of treatment. I would never recommend this place to anyone. There are other Korean skincare places better than this.

I'm an occassional customer to The Face Shop in H mart mall in Ridgefield. About more than a year ago, I purchased a gift card wanting to use it handy. However, they kept rejecting me to use the card everytime I visited to purchase saying that you can use it next time---either since I mentioned it too late or they're busy. So this time I remembered it to say ahead that I have a gift card and she said, they have changed the system and it cannot read any information on my card. Now I can't remember how much I have in my card. All I recall is that I have some money. The poor lady at the desk was trying hard to find out. She was just told to say there's nothing she could do about it since the system has changed. The owner in the phone sounded like she was trying to neglect the issue and expecting me to disappear with my OLD gift card. I am very disappointed on how they handle the issue like this. The lady at the desk was kind but again, she has no power to adjust any disfunctional matter like this. I thought it was a big company but the store ownership is run in an old Korean way!

Rude is just the tip of the iceberg! Maybe stop aggressively following customers around the store. I was going to spend a lot of money because I am a skincare enthusiast but ended up just buying a lip balm. Great products but really? I have been coming here for years and today was my last time. Each time the following got more aggressive.

Loved this place because its local and really has the "best on the market" and "top of the line products!" I could try the amazing skincare/cosmetics in-stock, before i buy. My skin was so happy. Knowledgeable store assistance as soon as i asked. Very sweet greeting and patient about my questions and communicated well to explain what my skin type needed. I knew this was the place to treat myself. Bought face primer with SPF20(green)to tone red facial skin. Lip matte applied after lip color, game changer! Plus, "super sale" on facial masks (for my facial skin needs - hydration and firming) i love these masks because once my skin soaks up all the product i just throw it away. Had to buy.

First of all, the young lady with long hair, who was working on 7/28/2021, was extremely rude. She sounded annoyed from the start when we asked a question and when we asked to switch an item, she started arguing. She ended up throwing the item aggressively into the bag, making the whole bag of our purchase fall to the ground. We're not the type to confront but this was too extreme so we asked why she was being so rude. She tried to make up an excuse that didn't even fit into her actions and she never apologized. She really needs alot of customer service training and needs to learn basic manners. We definitely won't recommend this place to anybody and this will be the last time we go there- especially if she continues working there.

The stuff was definitely rude and didn’t learn to treat customers properly. It says exchange or store credit within 7 days in receipt, but they wouldn’t let you exchange and told you everything is final sale, THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO SIGN IN THE STORE SAYS THAT.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would . The worst customer service. I brought in my own face shop product to buy the appropriate refill. Unfortunately it was discontinued so I picked something else. At checkout the associate rang up my purchase and then told me to hand her the product that I brought in myself. She was very rude . I didn't understand what was going on at the time but I quickly figured out that she was checking if I stole something/switched product for a new one, which I would never imagine doing. This discrimination and rudeness is unacceptable. Will not be returning to this store

Cosmetics and cute toys/stationary combined to make a shop for the young at heart and teens is my thought here as to the target market. Located across from the HMart, they have a bunch of displays around toys and cosmetic products, with a jarring side-by-side display (do all shopping for cosmetics like cute toys? Maybe.) Prices are high for toys but I suspect all are imported in (thanks for tariffs!). Cosmetics brands and types seem to focus more on the East Asian customers.
