“FAO Schwarz was a nice toy store. It is large and well organized, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We went here for the Jellycat Diner, and I have to say that it was very fun and cool. However, if you want to experience it you need to make a reservation a month or two in advance. Also, there may be a line to get in as we experienced, so just keep that in mind when planning a visit here. A negative is that it can get quite crowded inside, but other than that there isn’t too much to complain about. I would say it is worth a visit if you are in New York and love toy stores, or are especially a fan of Jellycats.”

“Love to go there - amazing selection - but you have to understand the experience. It contains a HUGE selection of games, and RPG books. Might be the most in NY State outside of the huge Millennium games up in Rochester. I've found items that have been out of print for years, or had small production runs.
BUT...
Stacked in huge shelves that stretch from floor to ceiling. It takes a while to read through everything! With tiny aisles that barely have room for one person to walk down. If you're claustrophobic, be warned!
It's almost all at MSRP. Not a place to get a bargain or a deal, generally (that said, they do have a bargain shelf at the back of the store. Right hand aisle, left side all the way back).”

“the most special little pocket of a craft store i had ever hoped to find. forget michael's, artist & craftsman supply has an immense variety of what you need to make art, and you'll be supporting small business! i went in just for some spools of embroidery thread, and not only did they have a huge spectrum of colors, but i must have left with two armfuls of craft supplies - as someone who loves to always be creating new things, that's how i know I'll be coming back forever!!”
“I love this place. I visited quite often. It is a small store but lots to see and buy. Little girls love this place. There are a few things for the boys to do. There is a basketball hoop on the main floor and a train set downstairs close to the restaurant. As for the restaurants in the store, it is phenomenal. The food was delicious. I highly recommend a visit when in New York City.

The kids had so much fun, especially at the Build a Minifigure station where you can build 3 minifigures for $9.99. They loved choosing all the different parts and putting them together.
It's a lovely place for kids. Mine didn't want to leave and wanted to take half the store home. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area.”

“I walked in today to purchase comics Pokemon and the guys WERE VERY NICE AND ATTENTIVE. They let me look around and gave me my space to look for what I was looking for. Both men At the counter were extremely helpful and carried great conversation when I needed support. Super knowledgeable and helpful. I have never walked in to Paradox and had a bad experience. I walk in all the time and spend hundreds of dollars with no issues. Paradox can have my business any day of the week with comics and Pokemon. If you ever need anything please don’t be afraid to ask the staff for help or support. They are all awesome!!!!”

“Yesterday was my son’s birthday party and I thought I ordered the balloons- turns out I didn’t. I called the balloon saloon an hour before the party in a panic. There was a rushed charge, but the Balloon Saloon worked fast, took the order, blew up the balloons and delivered to Chelsea in 45 mins. Thank you for your excellent products, customer service and hustle. I will be a customer for life. Thanks for saving a mom’s butt :)”

“10/10 experience the selection is wide and unique for the small space. You can find toys for all ages in there at a decent price! Plus I was being indecisive over a fidget toy and they let me open and and play with them after asking of course! They even tried it out themselves 😆 I also found some good needoh type of squishies in here got a hyland cow for 4 dollars and my fidget spinner for 8! You can beat that right now at all. My daughter got 2 sensory toys as well and she was very happy about it. Definitely recommend this shop to everyone and can't wait to come back on my next trip to the city.”

“There was a long line to get in, but it moved fairly quickly. Inside, it was crowded and chaotic, but as you’d expect, since it’s a place for kids, it’s normal for them to be fascinated and excited. Their good deals, fast shippings, amazing rewards program, and most importantly customer service support was what I liked the most! Elon, the representative, was THE BEST representative ever. He was very knowledgeable, caring, very detailed oriented and he is the main reason I ended up ordering everything from albee baby. He helped me a lot , thank you Elon”
“Biggie's is great! The owners are super lovely and run it themselves. Their dog, Biggie, is super cute. Often there's people playing chess outside- it's pretty rad.
Inside is a vintage lovers paradise, or more specifically, a vintage smokers dream. They specialize in refurbishing old lighters, ash trays, and smoking sets. Trust me, they're awesome. If you're not a smoker, they have old magazines, game sets, and old-style soda. If you'd like to become a smoker but are scared, they have candy cigarettes. Sick!
Anyway, I like to pop by whenever I'm in the neighborhood. You should pop in, too.”

“They had lots of cute items, and my boyfriend got the last of what I wanted (it was a plush keychain of a specific pokemon). Luckily we can share custody of the pokemon (lol). The socks were also really cute but had no sizing information and we both have larger feet, so we didn’t take the chance of them not fitting… I got a really cool little pen that has an extendable claw for scratching In my favorite color. My boyfriend is always asking me for back scratches and I thought it would be fun terrorize him around with the little claw 😂 I look forward to using it. I tested it on him in store before we bought and he said it was very powerful (he seemed more horrified than pleased), and then I extended the antennae and an expression of abject fear washed over him, but he resigned to his fate.
The woman working the counter was really nice, even though I clumsily bumped into something while browsing and knocked over some papers/ clipboard on one of the counters and was frantically trying to save them from all falling off the counter and making a huge mess for her to have to deal with, but it must have looked wild when she came back into the store to see what was going on!”
