I dont recommend this location, the are very RUDE, ill-mannered and haven’t knowledge or tranning to work for USPS. I have my own business and regularly ship products with USPS, I recently moved to the Ridgefield area, I always make my labels and pay for them on the USPS website, at this location the staff refused to accept the label claming that the weight I paid for shipping was too low, and the label had no added weight, which is completely FALSE. I did add the weight to my label. Even, if you dont add the weight, you cannot move on to the next window and pay for shipping. I am pretty sure that this person has no knowledge or tranning to work at USPS.
Once again, avoid visiting this location. Drive 10min mor and get North Bergen location.

Absolutely horrific experience I have never mailed anything. I usually have someone help me and do it for me. I walk in and wait online for 25 minutes when there’s only three people in line. The lady is absolutely rude. I ask her to mail the check to this address Tom River and she asked me to go grab an envelope and apparently I am no longer in line and have to wait. There are now 10 people in line indescribably ridiculous .

Jayshree (spelling) was so nice and kind and efficient while helping us take photos and submit our passport application for our young baby. We went in during their walk in passport hours. The process was easy and quick. She even helped other people that were there for quicker needs while helping us, without delaying our needs, which I thought was very nice. I recommend this place for passport help.

Update:3/5/24Bao at the front desk was very eager to help and I just spoke with Anthony. He was also very helpful. I would recommend this location very highly.It’s a gov’t agency. Easy parking and got what I needed every time I went.

I’m always impressed by the exceptional service provided by the staff( specially Reggie) From their warm welcome to efficient handling of tasks, the team exhibited professionalism, patience, and friendliness. It's a commendable reflection of their dedication to customer satisfaction. I wish all post offices are like this one.

1st of all, don't believe the "Silver Man" post where he tells you to ignore the many 1 star reviews. How selfish. Just because he had a good experience and got lucky, he says everyone else is lying about their bad experiences. At the post office, yes, the plus-size Black man that Silver Man spoke of is very nice and for that matter, I've never had a problem with anyone else there at the counter except for the skinnier Black man, who seems to be new there. I don't remember seeing him, but then again I don't go there very often. Anyway, after about 5 minutes of a man he was waiting on basically shootin the breeze with him while we waited on line, I said to the customer that we were waiting on line. The customer never even turned his head or said a word to me, BUT the postal worker began yelling at me and I was yelling back. Then the manager comes out to tell me to be quiet. I said tell him to be quiet and he yelled at me first! She chose a side and handled that all wrong. Instead of explaining to me that he was closed in the beginning, the postal worker first argued with me and then at the very end of the argument he said he wasn't open or taking any more customers anyway. I said well why didn't you say that in the first place? Now on to the mail-carriers. HORRIFIC! I saw one guy delivering mail in my area while smoking a cigarette; I have him on video. Pretty sure you shouldn't be smoking while delivering mail. He had the cigarette lit and in his hand and was smoking it while handling the mail and putting it in the boxes. Pretty sure that's not allowed, to say the least. Maybe he's the one who keeps putting other peoples mail in my box no matter how many times I keep returning it. It's only when I finally write on the mail that the person doesn't live here, that the carrier finally stops . And once it actually came back to me even though I wrote on it and said that person doesn't live here! Oh, and recently, I received a letter addressed to a neighbor with NO STAMP ON IT AND NO POSTMARK that was deliver TO ME, no less! Playing games with people you don't like because God only knows why is gonna catch up to you. Because what goes around, comes around and God is watching! So Silver Man, your review doesn't add up to a hill of beans in comparison to all the overwhelming 1 stars and comments here, including mine. I think that maybe you work at the post office or are a friend of someone there. Either way, anyone reading this needs to just realize that out of 77 reviews on Google, this post office only got 2 stars overall. The numbers speak the truth and the truth is like gold, "silver" man.

Asked for money 2 money orders and guy name JUN felt too lazy to make them and told me to write a form. There was a guy in front of me with 2 similar amount money orders he didn't bother asking him. He said there is a 'NEW Rule' - someone fire this guy.
