I'm really confused where the bank was or is, so went to Paramus location instead, I think this used to be "Blue Landry Bank" or something, I am unsure..

Had I gone into your Paramus location I may not have closed my account today in Ridgewood. The girl was so rude and seemed annoyed at everything I asked so because of her you lost a customer I have never dealt with rude tellers in Paramus

I dealt with Joseph Tufaro, Branch Ambassador, and got nothing but professional, courteous, help. I have'nt had that level of service in any business, of any calibur, from banking to cleaning services. My experience was great!

I just came from the Wyckoff location, which was closed despite saying it was open online (ongoing situation apparently), just to find this location is also temporarily closed because the power was out (even though the ATMs were on ?). I don't know what's going on with Capital One

I was a long time customer of CapitalOne. I ran out of checks and stopped by the branch to get a few temporary checks. I was told that they would have to charge me $10 per check!!!! After many years with this bank ill be closing the accounts with them asap and taking my business elsewhere.

6/2022 I would think twice about the Ridgewood branch. The workers are poorly trained. The manager's action is not customer centric. There are better managed retail banks in Bergen Co. Unfortunately, retail businesses which are not customer centric tend to die. What's the problem? I needed to purchase foreign currency. I spoke to a branch employee on the telephone with questions about foreign currency. During the conversation I asked him when the branch closes - he said 5. I drove 45 min to the branch and arrived at 430 only to learn the cut off for foreign currency is at 3 and they cannot place an order for the next business day, so I had to come back tomorrow. When I asked the employee why he didn't tell me the cut off was at 3 - I only got d*** looks. When I asked him how would someone who doesn't work at Capital One know this if you don't say something - I got more d*** looks. The above is bad & I will blame the bad combination of a minimum wage employee who was poorly trained. Above are the symptoms, now let's talk about the disease of incompetent management. I tried to contact the branch manager twice by email and was blown off. Only when I called the 800# to ask to speak with the regional VP did I get a call back from the manager. She did not take responsibility for her employees. She did not offer to cover my mileage to her bank. She didn't even apologize for Capital One wasting my time. Absolutely no ownership of her team's error. Apparently it must be my fault for choosing to do business with her branch. Don't make the same error. Find someone who wants to build a long term banking relationship with you. Unfortunately that's not what Capital One in Ridgewood does.

I came in on Saturday to open a business banking account and was greeted by a teller named Camvir. Camvir asked me if I had all my documents and then proceeded to tell me that they’re not opening business accounts for walk-ins. That I would have to leave a copy of my documents for “review” and then come back to open my account on Tuesday. I found it very odd and strange as I worked in banking before and never heard of such a pre-screening process before. As a long time customer of Capital One, I felt mistreated and am considering moving my accounts elsewhere.

Came to ATM in Ridgewood nj and found no parking space, I saw people parking in this branch parking spaces and going to next store which is a local bar, not a good maner to treat current customers, I think.

If you want to bank with them, consider this: THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE BY PHONE IS HORRIBLE. They have LONG wait times and its impossible to talk to a live agent. As you can see, I was on their 1800 number for almost two and a half hours before I gave up on my urgent issue. Total failure of a bank IMO.

Everyone at this branch treats me like family. I trust them and enjoy each visit to the branch.
