My daughter and I were just helped by Elaine at the Ridgewood location. She was a pleasure to deal with - so polite, cheerful, and so knowledgeable.

To be clear, the staff are very helpful and friendly and I highly appreciate them. I opened an account just a few months ago and never used it. I was given a debit card that I never once used or typed anywhere (online, text message, etc), and yet I had 2 instances of fraudulent activity show up. They were caught and blocked, but still really alarming. I've never had that issue with a debit card from other banks (credit card, yes). On top of that, I opened the account with a $20 deposit. When I closed, they said I actually OWED them $20, because it was negative due to "service charges". In other words, they charged me $40 in service charges in the short time it was open--for nothing. A really terrible and discouraging experience.

I came in needing a lot of banking support and Sara was incredibly patient and walked me through everything thoroughly and efficiently. I really appreciate her and all the effort she put in!

I cannot believe the lack of customer concern they have in this branch. I stopped in at 11am and there were 2 tellers. I asked the open teller that I need to see why a check I sent was never issued. She abruptly pointed to a table with chairs in the middle of the room ad said I had to wait my turn and It would be a few minutes? I sat down and after 15 minutes another woman came in and asked for help at which time a third woman came from the rear a began helping her. I waited a few more minutes and went back up to the 1st teller and asked when and if anyone was going to help me and she snarkly said it would be quite some time before anyone could assist me. I then left and drove over to the PNC in the Emerson Stop & Shop and was immediately helped by an assistant named Randy. You need to train your Ridgewood personnel on customer politeness like I was shown by Randy. I can assure you that I will never return to the Ridgewood branch nor recommend anyone else.

Inexperienced and unknowleadable tellers and staff. I had to go to another branch for cash withdrawal and international money transfer.

Usually the tellers are polite and nice but today I had a teller who was none of those things. This young woman had a pretty bad attitude and was condescending and “snippy” and disrespectful. She pretty much acted like she was doing me a favor by attending to my banking needs.

There is a PNC Bank employee pension class action I'm handling. Plz pm me on FB or call 1-800-279-6996 for more information & to make a no cost claim. They improperly mishandled employees' pension contributions.

Every time I need to get cash out or make a deposit I only use the ATM's. I rarely see a need to actually go inside & speak to a teller. Honestly, why would anyone wait in line when they can do it at the ATM? However I can understand why sometimes some people rather the one on one. This particular day I had to make a bigger than usual money withdrawal and I couldn't find any parking in front of the building so I decided to use their drive thru ( I completely forgot they had more parking in the back). This was very convenient because it was a pretty cold day so the idea of me staying put in my warm car was amazing. The teller who helped me was GREAT, I believe her name was Judy. She had such a welcoming smile, right away greeted me by my name which I enjoyed because it was more personal. I explained to her this was my first time using their drive thru so I wasn't sure how it worked and she helped me out and even gave me extra withdrawal slips for the future. I was there for 5-8 minutes and not because they took a long time but because I told her I knew my account number and by mistake gave her my checking instead. She apologized for the delayed since she had to look for my account manually, but it was my fault the whole time.. opps. Definitely my bad. I will most definitely use the drive thru again when I have my son in the car so I don't have to get out and drag him with me !
