I was a long time member of Bar Method Hoboken & would occasionally come to Ridgewood when I was home for the weekend or the holidays. The instructors were phenomenal and the studio is super clean & feeling new! If you're new to bar method, you will absolutely not regret it but you need to stick through it! The small isomeric movements target specific muscles to fatigue them and then immediately stretch and elonnnnngate. My flexibility and strength increased tenfold.

The bar Method Ridgewood is my favorite workout. The staff is so friendly and knowledgable and the studios are beautiful amd clean. Many classes offered.

It's been over two years since my first class at Bar Method Ridgewood, and it's still as challenging as day one! Bar Method has helped me increase my flexibility and is responsible for helping me build the core/leg strength I need for running and snowboarding. It is a total weight bearing workout that leaves me sweaty and challenged every time I take class. What I really appreciate is how knowledgable all the teachers are about proper form - they're super hands on! The studio space is beautiful and filled with amenities: childcare, 2 showers with toiletries, 3 bathrooms, and space to get ready if you're getting brunch downtown after class. And everyone is so supportive and down to earth: the teachers, staff, owners, and the community of women who attend. My day isn't complete without attending a class! Join our tribe!

I love bar method! Staff is amazing, classes are challenging, variety of classes and flexible class times. It's an amazing workout both physically and mentally!

I had a lot of incorrect assumptions about barre class and this studio. I'm so glad I eventually got over them and checked it out. The workout is an intense whole-body routine and the environment is incredibly positive and welcoming. I've had some sports and overuse injuries over the past year, and this is the one workout that I've had no issues continuing with bc it is so carefully designed and executed. I can't recommend it enough!

Where do I start? hmmmm... Well this place is my second home. I will have been doing BM religiously for the past 6 years. I started in the NYC studio, as I lived and worked in the city at the time. I have always been into physical Fitness, and at the time I was going to the gym, working with a personal trainer and taking random work out classes here and there. Then a friend of mine introduced me to BM and that is where my story ends lol. After my first few classes I quit, yes QUIT the gym and only focused on BM. I have been doing so since, and do not plan on making any changes to my workouts. One GREAT advantage of the BM, which makes them stand out from the other BARRE classes, is the extensive training their instructors undertake. BM is great for individuals who have specific injuries or physical fitness restrictions (like myself) because the instructors have been trained so well. They will be able to meet with you one on one to explain some modifications that will work for you and your injuries. (This is the same with pregnancy.)Two years ago I moved to Paramus NJ and to my delight there was a BM studio only 12 mins from my house in Ridgewood. I immediately switched my studio to Ridgewood where I have been since. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The studio is always need and clean (which is something you want when working out.) The towel racks are always full, and the bathroom/locker room is well equipped for those who want to take class. This is a great advantage as you do not have to worry about heading back home to shower, and or worry about forgetting one of your toiletries. They have it all, except maybe a toothbrush for your use lol. There is no better workout or place in my mind than the Bar Method, and the Ridgewood Studio specifically. (I have been to a handful of them, as i make sure when I travel to find the closest studio so i do not miss my workouts, so i would know!) With that being said, sign up now and take your first class. Don't forget to give yourself some extra time before class to check out their cute boutique as well. !!!!

I have been taking Bar Method classes for over 4 years now. I absolutely love it. It is a non impact full body workout for mind, body, and soul. No matter what age or gender you are, you can do this. There are modifications if you need them. You just need to communicate with your instructor before class and they will be happy to work with you and provide safe moves for your needs. It's up to you how easy or difficult you want to make your workout. No intimidating machines and you are exercising with fun, friendly fellow students. The Bar Method Ridgewood instructors and staff are wonderful. Give it a try.

Love this studio. The teachers are welcoming, helpful, and motivating. I feel very comfortable in the classes, and never feel judged. The schedule offers a wide variety of class times. Definitely give it a try! You won't be disappointed.
