Purchased a dining table in Aug of 2023, every excuse was given as to why the delays occurred and how it was out of their control. Constantly mentioning that I could check the contract stating that this is all covered in the terms, before the full payment was made they were willing to work with us with providing a temporary table due to the delays and since they miss all the deadlines they have given. Finally, in Dec 2023, we received "our table" but it had the wrong leg. They told us to take the delivery and that everything will be fixed. I was no longer happy with the response I was getting from the store as they just kept saying "Well we have done everything we could, the legs are set to be delivered in Jan". I went ahead and asked if anything else could be done, where they proceed to mention that since the delivery was accepted they couldn't do anything else. I won't return to the store or make a purchase again, as it becomes very apparent they are just looking to get that sale and that's it. The last time I do business with them.

I bought the Loyola Secretary Desk for over $ 2,300.00. The soft-close brackets/hinges broke right away (production issues and not because of use) and it is almost a year that they say replacements are coming in every single month and surprisingly are not in the container1) the item comes from overseas (Indonesia), to pass customs they have an invoice. Item not being shipped is known well before its arrival date but they like to make fun of customer, like we are all idiots.2) after almost a year of me not being able to use the piece of furniture as a Secretary and paid top dollars for something that I could have bought from Pier one import, if still open for half the price, they haven’t found or even shown any interest in solving the problem. They just say end of the month to the next and next and so on.Pleas be aware of quality and customer service. It is not what this old time American brand was. Shop elsewhere for better prices equaling quality.

Using a photo I sent, the designer was able to use a computer program to create a mock photo of the item I was looking for in our room. She was able to have the carpet samples prepared ahead of time as well. The process of making my decision was so easy because of her expertise. When the products were delivered they looked perfect! The quality is beautiful.

Bought a picture from them and the picture frame is falling apart. I called them and room they only cover 1 year warranty. I won’t no one to buy from them

Anthony Gargiulo, designer at the River Edge store, was very helpful in suggesting how to arrange my furniture in my new place. He even came to my condo, measured and provided a drawing of how things should look. I even contacted him for advice on carpeting even though I wasn't buying from Ethan Allen, and he was most gracious. Highly recommend!

Purchased a sofa and chairs at the Paramus store. Cheryl the sale person was pleasant, patient and professional. She always responded to emails and returned calls to clarify any concerns I had. Delivery went smoothly. Thank you for your excellent customer service.

I really do not appreciate to be greeted with "just so you know we close in 15 minutes" and receive no subsequent help from two chatting women at the front. The two employees kept chatting instead of helping us for the whole time we were there. This is unacceptable for the high end furniture store.

I have had a running issue with Ethan Allen since April or this year after dealing with them for 25 years and spending thousands of dollars there was an issue with the buffet I ordered I say I ordered one and they sent me another, I am not sure if I made the mistake but I do not think so anyway I tried to talk to them about returning and re-ordering and they want me to spend $1000 restocking free after two years of arguing I even offered to split it with them and their store manager will not even do that or do nothing to help me as a customer so please please if you have any intentions of going to that store, go elsewhere they are not very good business people at all and I'm very disappointed in them after all these years

Although the furniture is of excellent quality. The behavior of their customer service at the (Paramus/River Edge) store is poor and has made us decide not to shop their any longer. We disagreed with the color of the nails on a chair and sent the chair back. After discussion with the sales woman we agreed to take the chair even thought the nails heads were not what we wanted. A customer rep named Cathy was rude when scheduling a delivery and accused me of misrepresenting the facts. When I tried to explain how I believed I was confused. Her answer was sarcastically stated as "I heard the sales rep, I don't want to hear you" Avoid this store and shop at other locations. At these prices there is no need to be abused.
