“This was the magnum opus of collectible stores. Have never been in a place like this, a safe haven in New York. Come here if you want to enjoy the good things in life.”
“This is a place where all your nerdy, anime loving dreams come true. Staff is very nice and helpful all the time. Overall a great place to shop for your nerdy/geeky crafty needs.”
“Love book stores which are virtually a relic of the past. A nice place to spend some time browsing titles. I was looking for books for our grandchildren. I noticed it was a draw for some neighborhood seniors as a place to cool off on a hot summer day while reading up on some titles.”
“Me and my friends love to go to the card store, and this one particularly. The service is amazing, prices are great and everyone in there is so kind. 10/10 experience you must try to visit”
“The frame I ordered from Amazon arrived broken so I came to Blick. Shout-out to Oz who patiently help me choose the right frame and helped me set it up correctly. Much appreciated!”
“It has oil and acrylic paints, a variety of brushes and various plastic arts, including frames ready for your paintings, as well as various materials that can be sublimated and equipment to personalize clothing and accessories. I bought Windsor & Newton Acrylics, which are what I use in my paintings.”
“An absolutely PEAR of an antique store in Pear River. Went on October 3, 2024. The owner was also such a wonderful human being, with the kindest smile, welcoming atmosphere and disposition. His store is packed full to the brim with treasures one could tell he genuinely loves. His passion for antiques and old things is evident. From artwork, pottery, toys, books, sculptures, kitchenware, silver, to military items and more, this antique store will surely have a lovely treasure for everyone to enjoy. Please go and see it for yourself! I HIGHLY recommended and cannot wait to be back.”
“Awesome old school hobby store. The owners are super friendly, genuine enthusiasts, and very helpful.
The store is a goldmine of kits, and trains. Ask to head downstairs or out the back, there’s way more to the store than you’d expect.”

“Never been to a card store like this … absolutely insane selection. I’m forgetting the owners name but super cool dude. Bought 3 times in 3 weeks and he has good prices. Even got a few freebies. Spot is recommended for card enthusiasts!!”
“I recently had a residential flagpole installed by Chris and his team. The entire experience from the original consultation through the final installation was professional grade. Chris was extremely helpful with respect to the optimal placement in my yard and the various options in terms of poles and accessories. The team was always timely throughout the various stages of the project and was willing to work around my schedule to ensure the best overall experience. I would highly recommend America The Beautiful: Flags & Flagpoles for any residential or commercial installations.”

“Hobby Lobby in Paramus is an amazing store that truly covers every hobby you can imagine. I really appreciate how wide the selection is, whether you’re into crafting, building, designing, or collecting. I was especially excited to find Godzilla-themed items, which made my visit even more fun. The seasonal section is always impressive, with great decorations and ideas throughout the year. I also appreciate the quality and variety of blank t-shirts and sweatshirts, along with the huge selection of iron-ons that make customizing clothing easy and affordable. The car models and toys are great for collectors and hobbyists, and the art supply section is well stocked with everything from basics to professional tools. This Hobby Lobby truly has something for everyone.”
“I drove from Harlem to have two pictures framed and I'm so glad I did. Angela was the sales associate/framer who helped me. She was an absolute sweetheart. Not only is she knowledgeable but she's patient and kind. This will be my go-to location for any framework needed from now on.”
“I went for a AA battery operated clock work to replace one that died a peaceful end. Needed assistance find the clock works. I installed it and it worked. Another positive Michael's experience”

“Stumbled upon this place from a referral and decided to bring my Pokemon card collection. Met up with an individual John and he was super helpful and very nice. Not only were the very fair with their pricing but they also had an amazing selection of Pokemon cards and other trading cards. All in all my experience was wonderful and I would highly recommend going to this shop in the future!”

“Hollywood Heros has two things going for it. 1) An amazing, incredible selection of toys, new and vintage. 2) The nicest owners possible. My 12 y.o. son is a huge Star Wars collector, and he discovered HH on Yelp about. year ago. We've gone maybe a dozen times now even though it's an hour round trip. We often find rare and impossible to get items here and if it's not on the shelves, it's probably in their basement, so just ask. We became friendly with Jordan and Val on our trips there, and Jordan has been especially gracious. He always has time to talk, answer questions, and be friendly. Even when we come to just window shop, we still have great talks. Recently my son was looking for an ARC-170 gunship, and Jordan and Val had just gotten one in that had missing parts, and they gave it to my son as a thank you for being a loyal customer. It made my son's month. The store is a block from the central shopping district, so when we go we get bagels or Korean chicken and make a day out of it, or go the few blocks to Trader Joes. I know a Trader Joes isn't a selling point for a store specifically, but as a parent of someone who loves shopping here it's nice to have a cute town that can be part of the experience.”
“New owners seem to know what’s trending these days! My son LOVES the pokemon cards here, especially the Japanese ones. He’s been getting some good pulls from this store’s selection. Will be coming back again!”

“I LOVEEEE this Michaels they have everything you need and I decorated my graduation cap with all the materials from here!!! And I also get my yarn from here!! They have such a variety of things!”
“Was in the area and looking for a few products so stopped in. Place is stocked on sports. Prices are in line with sports card stores. For harder to find stuff it’s a bit more than retail but that’s expected and fair. The guy there, possibly the owner, was friendly and super helpful. I ended up with some good stuff and an overall good experience. I’ll be back. If you need anything from baseball to Pokemon they have it and like I said, fair prices. Oh lots of hockey which is not easy to find always.”
“Lovely experience today with Arissa, who exhibited extraordinary kindness and patience as I sought to have 3 photos of my Mom framed. She listened attentively to what I thought might look good and showed me a virtual picture of what I selected on her computer. Then we both noodled around with mat colors until we came up with something we both thought looked great. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product. Many thanks to Arissa for her artistic eye and generosity with her time.”
“Im so glad this fabric store is still open. Yesterday, I was able to find the fabric I need for a last minute dress for my daughter. Everyone is so helpful and the prices are great.”

“Michael's will always be my #1 place to go for my craft supplies. Being a member, you earn discount vouchers to spend as a reward for shopping at Michael's. The best part of using the reward vouchers is that you can use them on top of sale items which cuts the prices even more.”
“Great place for Coins , Pokemon, and sports cards. Steve is a guy with a lot of knowledge of the 3 main products he sells. I’ve never gone there for coins but that’s what the majority of his business is I would think. Myself I don’t do Pokémon but I’m big into sports cards. Steve has a huge selection of sports card singles and prices that won’t break your wallet. But my surprise came when I walked in and saw all of the wax mostly retail baseball nba and nfl. But he has boxes that are from last year as well as the most recent boxes that have hit the stores and you can’t find anywhere. Not bad prices considering where he’s located it’s almost impossible to buy sone of the boxes at that price without driving 25 miles to match his price. I almost didn’t want to write a review because i was nervous my secret would get out about Steve’s Coin shop not only having coins, that the boxes will all be gone. But im writing this because Steve and his over 30 year old shop is a diamond in the no sports cards rough. So I would recommend this shop 10/10 times and I’d travel up to a hour to get to Steve’s.Keep up the good work Steve and hide some boxes for me because if people read this I don’t think you’ll have any left! Thanks SteveAdam Crosson”
“My favorite card store I’ve ever been to since my 20 year collecting adventure began. Prices are stellar and Steve is just that “dude”. They have gaming events - primarily Magic and Yugioh - but have cards for everything else. Will be coming here continuously.”
