Bluejay pharmacy moved into the location I was very happy to see that some of the staff continued working with the new owner / pharmacist. The Owner, as well as the other pharmacists, & staff that work at this location are very knowledgeable and very caring. Linda was with the other pharmacy & I am happy she is still there. She is a caring & loving person & I always look foward to seeing her!!! They take the time to talk with you and discuss anything that you need. If they are super busy, they will even call you, if you can't wait! They go above and beyond and will even contact your doctor's office if a prescription has not been sent over. I would definitely recommend this family owned and operated pharmacy. I am very pleased with their Customer service, friendly, mom & pop feel! They are top notch. Also, they will call me to let me know that my medication is ready. In the event I don't show up, they will have the medication delivered (which I like a lot) to my house free of charge.You can check your blood pressure for free in there. If you need to make a copy of a document, it's only 10 cents per page. Prices of vitamins, deodorants, cleaning supplies, etc are all very reasonable.Therefore, I highly, highly recommend Lacross Drugs Pharmacy to all the people of the South Bronx. They will even instruct you on how to take your medication, foods to avoid when you are on certain medications, etc., etc.Please, ask for Angie, Raquel, Stephanie or Anna. These people care, they will listen to your concern, and they are very compassionate. I have never seen them lose their temper over the past four years that I have been patronizing this pharmacy. “Above and Beyond. I went to a sports medicine dr yesterday and he prescribed me a couple of prescriptions for a shoulder injury and gave me the card from this pharmacy and told me to call them. Before I even had a chance to call they had already called me saying they were ready to deliver to me. They're up on 125th street and I'm in Queens. I was very impressed just by that. “I've always been indifferent on CVS stores, but wow, this location is awesome. This River Edge store is impeccably clean, tidy and organized. Everything is easy to find, they have new products constantly rotating in and it's actually a trip I look forward to making. The only issue is that their checkout line area is a bit disorganized in terms of where to line up, so it makes it a little confusing when there are multiple people trying to get out.”
