“I was disappointed that my pharmacy of over 30 years was closing. Bluejay pharmacy moved into the location I was very happy to see that some of the staff continued working with the new owner / pharmacist. The Owner, as well as the other pharmacists, & staff that work at this location are very knowledgeable and very caring. Linda was with the other pharmacy & I am happy she is still there. She is a caring & loving person & I always look foward to seeing her!!! They take the time to talk with you and discuss anything that you need. If they are super busy, they will even call you, if you can't wait! They go above and beyond and will even contact your doctor's office if a prescription has not been sent over. I would definitely recommend this family owned and operated pharmacy. I am very pleased with their Customer service, friendly, mom & pop feel! They are top notch. If you are looking for a family business to support definitely check this pharmacy out. If they don't have something they will even try to order it for you! Though as I said I am sad my long standing pharmacist/Owner retired & I miss him. I am glad I took his advice & gave Bluejay a chance! A+++”

“All About Bruce! (Location: 661 w 181st st New York, NY 10033)I have encountered Bruce many times while being a patron of The Vitamin Shoppe. He is ALWAYS helpful, never intrusive and extremely informative. However, today, he went above and beyond what I expected.While trying to take advantage of the BOGO sale, I was dismayed that the product was not available. Upon Bruce asking if I needed assistance, he was able to tell me the reasoning behind it not being in stock, but then he, first asked, if I could travel to a different location before checking to see if they had the product.They did not. He went further.He found the product at their 55th street location. And even called to see if they could put one aside for me, while I took a train ride down. (They actually set two aside and I was able to take advantage of the BOGO deal).I always choose The Vitamin Shoppe, for my protein needs, and even though I live closer to another Protein supplier (recently moved 5 days ago), because of BRUCE I will continue to go out of my way to shop where I feel appreciated, taken care of and seen.Thank you BRUCE for being you!”

“I am astounded beyond words. We have used this pharmacy for the last five years. We were so sad to see Jim leave, but excited for him and his retirement. I just spoke with the pharmacist two days ago about my husband's prescriptions, and they delivered them to us. I called today about having mine and our son's delivered, and WALGREENS answered the phone. I was given NO notification of them closing. NO MENTION two days ago. A also received their monthly newsletter in my email just LAST NIGHT. Again, no mention of them closing the doors. When I spoke with the pharmacy tech at Walgreens, she told me today is the first day and many people are surprised as I am. How incredibly disappointing. What poor customer relations. YOU, the owners should be ashamed. I give 5 stars for the staff who worked the time we were customers. Thank you to Jim, Jeri, Carol, and the rest of the staff who were loyal.”
