“NVE felt like it was a part of my family. Going back to being a little girl, I recall going through the drive through with my mom and being met with kindness and friendliness from the tellers. I accompanied my mom when she visited the branch in Englewood, and each person treated her with kindness and respect. When my mom passed 8 years ago, she left an IRA, and I began a banking relationship with Cheryl in their IRA department. Since 2016, she has been an absolute pleasure to work with. She knew who I was whenever I called along with the details of the account. Even so, she took the time to verify me, because she is diligent in her work. When it recently came time to transfer the account, she went above and beyond to help me. The banking relationship is now over since I no longer live in NJ, but I will always remember this bank as a friendly and welcoming place. Cheryl was especially helpful to me during a difficult time, consistently showing kindness and attentiveness to my account. “Tim the manager at this branch is a remarkable leader, an example for all retail branches around on how to listen with empathy and advise without selling or pushing an agenda. The tellers here are well trained and courteous, can't say they are remarkable, they get the job done. But the leaders here really do a great job managing higher level questions and concerns, that's all I can really ask for, someone to be accountable when issues arise or questions need answering. Ingress options need to be expanded without jumping curbs or barriers, I do enjoy parkour but don't know if my body can keep up in the coming decades.”

“Had brunch at the Gotham Diner on Thursday morning with my family. The diner is convenient from the road and was clean with a typical NJ diner vibe.Our server was lovely and attentive. At the end she apologized for not being able to give us more attention as they were understaffed but we didn't even notice! I ordered the chicken soup on recommendation from my sister and it was so worth it! Delicious! My kids had the pancakes with sides of fruit, my husband has an omelet as did my sister. And I had egg whites with a side of sausage. Everything was cooked well, and came out hot. Definitely will go back!”
