Brand new lawn mower delivered today that looks like a piece of crap. Note provided pictures. This is the product that HD shipped to me today. Rust on the bolts, rust on the frame, and rust in the cup holder. $2500 piece of crap that HD didn't even take the time to look over before delivering it. Probably left this thing outside for months and then sold it to me. Last time I ordered recessed lights they lost some of the order and only refunded me. Didn't even offer to replace. 5 years ago ordered a snow blower and it got lost in shipment. Not sure how you lose a 200lb snow blower. At this point I'm done with HD and the store at Riverdale, NJ. Every time I go to the store the items that say in stock online are never on the shelf and you can't find anyone to help. If you want to know why Amazon is crushing your business, this is why! I will take my business elsewhere going forward. Update: Just got the call from HD. Initially they called and told me that they would bring a new mower and see about getting me a discount. Now they're saying they will give me 10% off of their crap product they delivered and aren't bringing me a new mower. Absolutely unbelievable at this point. Customer service rep tells me they leave the mowers outside and it's just a result of the elements. These people must live over at Earth 2. So your response is the customer should just take the product you decided to leave outdoors and get exposed to the elements? Really!! I just can't believe it! Worst customer service I've ever seen. Final update: I've attached more pictures of this supposed "new" lawn mower. This thing looks like a used lawn mower. Rust everywhere, scratches and dents in the paint, dirt all over the inside of the engine cover, and rust on the battery terminals under the seat. This thing was not just sitting outdoors. This was used by someone quite a bit. Now here's where it gets really good. My fiancé and I went to HD last night to ensure they were scheduled to pick this piece of crap up today as no confirmation emails have been received. And guess what! There's the same model mower on display outside in front of the store and it's almost in perfect condition except for a scratch. So I got the POS mower and they sold me a "used" more as new. Just take a look at the pics. Contacting my credit card company this morning as charge is pending and I want it blocked. Also, contacting Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bureau.

Placed an online order for curbside pick up. Said it was ready at 3:00. Went there after work, pulled into the curbside spot and went through the app to tell them I was there. After 15 minutes of no one showing up I went inside to the Customer Service desk. They paged a pick up person After 15 minutes of no one showing up they called to the back. 10 minutes later two employees came up asking the CS person about the order. I asked them if it was even picked. They said they didn't see it in the back and will take another look and then re-pick it. I cancelled the order in the app and asked for a manger and the employee I was talking to said he was the manager and apologized. I told him 40 minutes for curb side pick up with no pick up was not a good look. He apologized again. While waiting I saw no less then 10 employees milling about faces in their phones. Went to Lowe's down the street and was in and out in 10 minutes.

HOME DEPOT WINDOWS & DOOR PROJECTS For any of you searching for windows/ doors replacements to update your home, be for warned that using Home Depot Projects could be a big mistake and let me share my experience. In the interest of replacing my houses' 20+ year old vinyl replacements, I had entertained hearing previews from Renewal by Anderson, which are definitely the Cadillac of Windows and Doors, but comes with a very hefty price tag. (For those of you with enough money- they maybe the way to go). I followed that by a home presentation from a Windowrama salesman that presented with minimal effort or care and yet their prices seemed higher than one would expect. By the time I reached the 3rd presentation from a friendly Home Depot Window/Door salesman, their prices didn't seem so outrageous so I signed. Timing is everything! Should you want to cancel there is only a 3 day window and having the salesman on Friday later in the day, left me very little chance of cancellation. So I now shouldered a $29,000 Home Depot Project loan for an "open job" which stands incomplete going on six-months. Dealing with Home Depot is certainly a nightmare- lots of lip service with a series of contact phone numbers without the follow-up to phone calls left on their voicemail system. It's been an open job before Christmastime 2022. Drip- drip-drip-drip. The installation was shotty at best, and although they did return to fix some of their work, we are still waiting for a patio door that was ordered several times with the wrong opening, along with a damaged window and a window ordered wrong size. You may think having a wrong size window ordered is not a big deal, but when you consider that Home Depot installation people, and their salesman, totaling "3 different times" measured for these replacements it should have guaranteed it was done right. Not so! How can 3 people use the same measurements and screw up an order? As of today, almost 6 months in, we are still waiting for a status or completion update since not one person has responded to my numerous phone messages. Meanwhile like a good customer, I'm forced in paying my loan payments in good faith, along with hefty interest I might add. I am hoping that Home Depot will live up to their $29,000 contract with me, and complete my order and live up to their great sales pitch. So BUYER BEWARE- it's late for me but it may save YOU some big headaches.

Working with HD was a positive situation. Kept me up to date on deliveries etc. the worker was dedicated and worked diligently. The floor looks beautiful!

This is the most disorganized of all Hole Depots in the city. I had ordered lumber to be delivered. They cancelled twice on two different days. We finally rented a van to pick up and the lumber they had chosen was so warped we had to put it back and pick out for ourselves.

If you're delivering to the dock make sure you come around the left side as you're facing the building by Extra Space Storage and then blind side back into the dock.

I mean you get up you get out you get in and back out as fast as you can... Self-reliance is Katie Ralph Waldo Emerson one stated that well probably more than once... You're on your own you're on your own Private Idaho... This is the world we live in don't ask for help you're not gonna get it... Across-the-board I've been coming to the store for years and every time I had to ask somebody something... I have been disappointed the buyers keep buying cheaper more planned obsolescence bullshit products...

Worst customer service ever do not waste your time they remind me why I don't shop at any Home Depot poor customer service poor staffing nobody to help you. Avoid at all cost go up more to Lowe's.

So unprofessional and chaotic. I ordered 7 items for curbside pick up. Got the email it was ready, went the next day to pick up the order and had to wait 40 minutes for them to tell me to come inside to collect some items because their curbside pickup wasn’t working ?! What does that mean?! and then have to wait for someone to load 4 stepping stones and no one comes out after awhile so I have to run back in and grab someone with a smock and load my items. They had no idea where anything was for orders. Very disappointed and waste of my time. Will not be using this service again!

I guess this store is getting ready to close. Why else would there be no staff in windows and doors. You have to call a phone number. Then when you check out, only self-checkout was open except for Pro. Oh, and there was the rude, nasty young man directing people to the checkouts. There were 10 people waiting to checkout outside. Oh, and this was a Saturday. Awful. You clearly don’t want my business!

Ordered cabinets for rental unit. Dealt with Jane Eyre Machado , she was fantastic. Spent time designing and pricing cabinets. Her knowledge was deep and vast about designing and finding the proper kitchen cabinets. Recommend that you see Jane when you need to order cabinets.

This store is extremely short staffed. Nobody answers the phone. I ordered online yesterday morning for store pick-up and was assured it would be ready the same day. I called the morning after at 10am and was assured it would be expedited to be ready in "a couple of hours." 6 hrs later and a lady told me no one had pulled the 4 items I ordered out. If I'd have known, I would have just gone to the store to get the items myself instead of waste 2 days. I finally talked to the manager Bill who was very nice and had the order ready in 10min. Unfortunately, I went to the store and was told they can't bring it out curbside because they have no staff. Waited another 20min on the pickup line.
