Terrible customer service. The manager at the fabric cutting station is super nasty. She is unfriendly, not professional at all. Joann is supposed to be a fun store for those who like to do fun projects not a funeral home. If you are not happy there go away.

Recently purchased over $700 in products from Joanne's. When purchasing the Cricut machine and supplies, the associate sold me a Cricut Press. I asked for the return policy since I was unsure that it was the best option for me. I was referred to the return policy on my receipt and was told I could return it if didn't meet my needs. Today, drove back to the store and rejected the return. The store manager (Hanora, I believe?) was called on the phone, but didn't come to the front desk. They just kept saying sorry, we can't accept it and told us to call customer service. When I got home, I called the manager on duty myself and again, the same answer... sorry, we can't accept those returns, but couldn't really tell me why. She didn't even know their own return policy. The Store manager is apparently on vacation, nor could they provide their district manager's contact info. This runaround for a glorified $150 iron is insane. This is why people don't bother shopping in stores. Never again.

Love the store and selection. Staff are very willing to be helpful. They are limited due to understaffing so sometimes a long wait at cutting table or register or if you have a question. Great fabric selection. Best big box store for yarn. Should bring in prym hooks and needles.

Was in Joann’s in riverdale and had to use the bathroom and it was filthy toilet paper on the floor in all stalls the bathroom smelled and their was no soap in the dispensers. They need someone to clean it throughout the day. Other then that the store was clean and sales people friendly

Incredibly RUDE EMPLOYEES

HORRIBLY RUDE EMPLOYEES! I was shopping with my autistic teenage daughter when she mistakenly tested a marker on a piece of cardboard which others had also tested markers on, not seeing the below-eye level sign that asked customers not to do so. Suddenly, a female employee with short dark hair and red contact lenses came storming into the aisle and began aggressively yelling at my child, accusing her of vandalism. She pointed to a not-very-obvious sign on the shelf below that asked people not to test the markers and shrieked "This LITERALLY says do not test, can't you read?!" My daughter quickly apologized, saying she hadn't seen the sign but this wasn't good enough for the employee, who continued to angrily berate her for another 15 seconds in a loud, hostile voice. She then ordered her out of the aisle and followed her to the next aisle where she stood with her arms folded, breathing heavily, and glaring at both of us as if we were thieves. She shouted "Don't vandalize anything in this aisle either!"and then proceeded to follow us around the store. Taken aback by her combative tone which didn't fit the situation at all, we approached the check out counter with our purchases, and I asked to speak to a manager. A young male cashier identified himself as the manager and I recounted the incident to him. I stated that my daughter was mistaken in testing the marker on a piece of cardboard but explained that she is autistic, and said that I felt the employee's reaction was "over the top" and unnecessarily nasty. I said she could have simply pointed out the sign, but didn't have to humiliate and frighten a disabled child. The "manager" then said that the antagonistic employee was in fact the actual manager, and defended her tirade, suggesting that my daughter "could have just not vandalized the store property" (which was again, not a shelf but a small disposable square of cardboard). I again acknowledged her error and said that my issue wasn't with the rule itself, but with the employee's demeanor. He then very curtly demanded that I "pay for my items and go, because I was holding up the line". These people have no idea how to treat paying customers and lack the most basic kindness and understanding. NEVER going there again!
