“Newest store in Bordentown area. Great selection but you need to know your prices. Since covid nothing cist a dollar. Many items are still from older stock and old price was just covered up with a red dot and now sells for more. Some items are still cheaper elsewhere. Don't assume it's a great price just because the store used to be the best place to shop.”

“This store is well stocked and I was able to do quite a bit of holiday shopping there. In fact I was really surprised at the amount of stuff that they had there. Even on a Thursday morning the place was buzzing with holiday shoppers. The only complaint I had was most of the items were over a dollar. That bugged me a bit but I was also coming to dollar tree after a while.”

“I've been going to this store since UT opened. Since Mariah has been the Manager, this place is great. Sure you go in on days of their shipment, boxes are all over...but they are working hard to get the products on the shelves. I get greeted when entering the store. I go through the store filling my shopping cart up. I see Mariah opening boxes, filling the shelves up. Christians is usually at the register working hard.
I see Mariah helping customers find products. The store is one of the cleanest Dollar Generals around. I visit many of them. This is the number one.
I do however have a complaint about the side entrance getting in and out of the parking lot. I'm driving over a 3 inch lift that beats the hell out of my vehicle every time. What were they thinking? Fix it!! Over all, love this store. Go check it out.”
“I have been here a couple of times. Located on South Board Street. This store is more like a upgraded Family Dollar or Dollar General. They have everything you need in here. From kitchen stuff, to bathroom needs as well as hygiene products. Whatever you need they have.Prices are reasonable. Polite staff. There is a language barrier there. But the young lady cashier seems to understand English pretty well.Definitely a go to store for whatever you need.Key point...They are well stocked.”

“I can give it a five star because the manager was real professional. I don't know her name but she was very attentive to the customers when they had a computer breakdown. She got on the intercom apologized to the customers and told them she was working on the problem. It took about 20 minutes for this all to go about but I kept watching how attentive she was how she was following every direction on the phone to get the system up and watching how her customers were getting unsettled and calming them down eventually system worked and everything was fine I'm giving her five stars for real because being the manager is not easy.”

I stopped into this Dollar General today because FedEx had misplaced a package, and I was hoping they could help. (they FedEx station in this store) When I arrived, the system was down and the manager, Tracey, was on the phone with FedEx trying to sort it out. The ladies up front were extremely kind and told me I was welcome to wait until she finished the call.
While I waited (which took a while, but through no fault of the staff), I browsed the store—and wow. I wish I lived closer because this is genuinely one of the cleanest, best-organized, and most well-stocked Dollar Generals I’ve ever been in. Every shelf was neat, faced, and fully in order. You can tell the team takes real pride in their store.
When Tracey finally finished with FedEx, the system was still giving her trouble, but she was so sweet and determined to help. She went above and beyond to find my package and even figured out a workaround to release it despite the technical issues. I literally wanted to give her a hug—she was that kind and helpful.
Throughout my entire visit, all the employees were hustling: helping customers, stocking shelves, keeping things in order. This team works hard, and it shows.

“I am handicapped above knee amputee. And attempting to shop in this store can be a challenge using a walker. However an employee by the name of huberson that's what it says on the receipt.. as soon as I walked in the store he offered his assistance as I shopped. He also generously walked me and my bags too my vehicle. This is what I call going above and beyond service. This gentleman was more than I could have ever asked for. He was wonderful. Judging him truly his demeanor. ??”

“I give four stars because the store is always stocked and clean. You have some awesome employees except one. Bryon. There was a line. Nobody knew where the cashier was at. Some one yelled hello. And bryon was upset . He kept going back and fourth complaining because someone said hello and being rude about how the customers had to wait. All he had to say was he was doing the balloons Another employee came to the front once she heard hello becaause she didn't know the line was long bryonkept going back and fourth . I never ever experience that in this store. Nobody's was being rude to him.”
“There are only 2 employees allowed to work at night. So if there are long lines, and not enough inventory it's the company's fault, not the employee's”
“These people are the most awesome individuals I have ever met! All they do is help people they are kind and decent and wonderful and their customer service is over-the-top! “I use to hate this store. The manager and workers were so rude and ghetto. I live on liberty St, and would travel to olden Ave or broad St., just to avoid this one. Now there is a new manager, and you can see the difference. The new manager is doing a great job at restoring this location. Now I don't have to drive pass this one, to shop at other stores. “Stopped in here to get some snacks for a short road trip while traveling in the area. Area was clean seem to be adequately stocked had this sort of road trip snacks we were looking for at a price better than the gas station near the highway.”

“I don’t normally leave reviews but whoever is running this store needs to tell Peggy/Margaret that she should not be speaking to other staff the way she does. The way she yelled at Monica in front of a store full of people was extremely uncalled for. Monica was opening another register because it was busy and Peggy thought it was nice to completely speak down to her. I felt so bad for Monica as I’ve interacted with her before and she’s so sweet. Someone needs to let Margaret there is no reason to speak to a coworker like that and if she’s management that’s even worse.”
