My dog has had the most amazing experience at Camp Bow Wow . This place is so professional, and so caring towards the animals and towards their owners. The services that they also do is very special to the pets. I unfortunately can use the one in Rockaway during the summer months for my winter home is not near there. When I return in the spring, I will definitely be bringing her back there. I highly recommend this place and the employees that work there. The owner should be very grateful for them. They are truly blessed to have such dedicated, humbling, compassionate employees.

We can not say enough how awesome everyone at Camp Bow Wow has been. We have been taking our pup here for over three years now and never had anything but great experiences. The team at Camp Bow Wow always go above and beyond when it comes to caring for our pup. Special shout out to Brett who really cares for the dogs like they are his own and for always helping us make sure our dog is comfortable whenever she is there.

Jack and Dawson love Camp Bow Wow. They are day and over night boarders. They participate in enrichment activities. They are groomed at Camp Bow Wow. They are trained there too. They jump up and down for joy when I say Camp Bow Wow! The staff members are experts in dogs and the staff is phenomenal.

I went to a play this weekend at a place next to camp bow wow. Apparently people were parking in their bare parking lot. That did not make the owner very happy. So he decided to come into a place for children and yell, scream and drop the f-bomb in front of many children. So rude and tasteless, no class.

updated to add on 9/6: The owner did reach out, was apologetic, and offered a full refund for the stay + visit. I do appreciate this offer as I believe these were the right steps after our stay. I'm appreciative of them taking responsibility and following up on our dog.___If you look at my google profile, you can see I've only left 5 star reviews for businesses over the last 5+ years, so to give a negative review is something I take very seriously. My nearly 6 year old dog has been going to places like camp bow wow for 5 years. She has always loved playing with the other dogs and we've never had any issues. We just moved to NJ and in the last year we brought her to Camp Bow Wow three times. Our most recent visit to the Rockaway location ended with her getting bit by another dog just shy of her eye. We took her to the emergency vet (after hours) and over $500 later, they shaved her face, gave her two shots, and prescribed 2 different pills (x2 a day) and 2 ointments (3x a day). In addition to how horrible this was for us and our dog, we are concerned she will have future issues with dogs and be nervous. I've emailed my concerns and disappointment to Camp Bow Wow as well as spoken with them on the phone and am left incredibly disappointed with their lack of response and care. Both on the phone and over email on 8/11 I requested to speak to the owner. It's over 2 weeks later and I have not had a response or call back. They explained that our dog was playing, the other dog wasn't interested and bit her face. They had no followup to see how our dog was doing, would not contribute to the vet bill, and the worst of all I truly felt they did not care after she left the building bleeding (which was very much so confirmed by their phone call). I'm incredibly disappointed for a variety of reasons not just limited to her attack. We also paid for extra services which I do not believe were done (I addressed this in an email, which was not at all addressed only leading me to believe it further). I would never, ever recommend this location and upon speaking to many local dog families, many of them have had similar experiences at the Rockaway location as well as Morris location.

Specifically Puppy training. Building smelled horrific, training was very flatlined with no incentive other than hot dogs for the pups (ver unhealthy). The very basic skills were provided which was OK but there was never anything interactive and no free play time for pups. Classes were never a full hour. Very disappointing.

This was a great place until my dog's last visit. One of the employees fed him something that I did not provide and became violently ill, vomiting and diarhhea Then the manager called me and proceeded to gaslight me by accusing me of feeding him something I hadn't. This was comical as he had been there all day he wouldn't even eat his dinner when he came home which I found odd. I'm not one to make a big stink so I just kindly asked for my money back. No refunds. Just be weary of who you put your trust in with your furry children I certainly learned my lesson.

First time bringing my dog here for boarding and it was amazing.. staff is very attentive ..my dog is an older gal, but she did pretty well considering. She did, however, come back home with an upset stomach (not sure why since i provided her own food, all premeasured), and her voice/bark was so horse... she seems to be getting better, so assuming since it was her 1st time she probably outdid herself or case of separation anxiety...

I just recently boarded my dog Diesel for a week. The has knee issues so I was nervous to leave him to play all day (plus, he is on multiple medications and vitamins 2 times a day). When I dropped him off, they spent so much time with me to go over my instructions and to make sure the recorded what was in his huge bag. Which made me feel confident leaving him. I got to watch him play during the day as he followed the worker around or laid awkwardly in the middle so he could be in everyone’s way. They made sure he had his toys and belongings in his room for him when it was bed time. I am so grateful for all the hard workers at camp BowWow for letting me relax on my vacation by taking sure great care of him! Plus, they are always posting on social media and making TikTok’s showing all the fun things they do with the campers during the day. We will DEFINITELY be back! Thank you so much for all the great work and dedication you all have. But most importantly, for taking such great care of all the dogs while their doggie parents are away!!

Our Pup Cleo has been going to Camp bow wow since she was just 6 months old. She has done the board and train problem as well as multiple over night stays. She always has the best time and comes home a happy and tired pup!
