Ray & Judy's Book Stop is an independent, family-run bookstore established in 1984. It is a great little bookstore and a treasure trove tucked away on a quiet street corner in Rockaway, chock-full of great books. The shop offers a plethora of great books belonging to very diverse genres, with a wide selection of used, current, and new books at really great prices. It is a haven for comic book collectors with a fantastic and multiplying collection, and also stocks baseball cards, posters, magazines, and other collectibles and nic knacks. There is a section almost entirely dedicated to children. The whole place is covered in books, feeling homey and safe and never musty. The owner is a very kind man who supports local causes and happily recommends books. Every town needs a store like this one, and it is a place to show your support.
Absolutely loved it! Wish I went earlier to really look but I’ll spend more time next time. Great selection of books and comics. I was really surprised by the comic selection since most stores don’t carry that much for mom and pop’s. The owner is so sweet and great to talk to. Highly recommend!!!

A great little bookstore, they have a wide selection of used books, and other nic knacks. They also have comic books as well.
