I had a great experience at Sterling Optical at Rockaway NJ, Gary did an excellent job on my Oakley frame that nobody else wanted to even touch them because of difficulty of the curve frame is was not going to be an easy job to get the prescription position right into the lens correctly, but Sterling Optical in Rockaway did and the customer service from all the staffs it was A++ I’m a very satisfied customerThank you

I have been going here since my first pair in 2015 and have always been treated with the the best service and care. Gary has a great eye for fashion and picked out the perfect frames for my face and style!! The whole team has been there for years and are all amazing!!!

I have been going to this Sterling Optical for over 17 years for my family’s vision needs. Gary and his team have treated us like family from the onset. Anytime there has been a need for eye exams, glasses and contact lenses or frame adjustments, Gary and his team fit us in and provided outstanding service.

So I've been coming here since i have been about 6 years old (I'm now 29) and i would recommend Sterling Optical to basically anyone and everyone! this place isn't just about "making a sale" its about quality service and actually caring for their patients like they are family. They strive to make sure you are 100% happy leaving the store EVERY SINGLE TIME. I have legitimately taken 4 hours to pick out a single pair of glasses & NOT ONCE have i EVER felt pressured or rushed (its hard to see what looks good when you cant see what the heck you look like!). I have been through hell and back with my eyes and i honestly don't know what i would do if it wasn't for sterling optical and all of their WONDERFUL employees! but most of all I have to give a special shout out to GARY!! Gary is such a kindhearted and wonderful person - He has picked out every pair of glasses i have ever owned & nailed it every time!

I have no words to express how grateful our whole family is towards Newy and Gary at Sterling Optical. They are nothing but accommodating and go above and beyond for our autistic son Gabriel, who is 12. It is not easy to deal with my son and his special requirements, yet they always serve us with such kindness and compassion. We started to bring our son only and now our whole family has moved to this place. If you want an optical where you will be treated like family, I recommend you visit Newy and Gary. Plus the things they sell are extremely high quality as well. It's a win, win!!!!

My lens fell off during a mall walk. I hesitantly walked into Sterling and asked for a favor..... They fixed it, cleaned my lenses, and pleasantly sent me on my way, with a smile, for $0. Color me surprised. Kudos. ???

Just went here because my glasses were absolutely smashed and I have out of state insurance that I couldn’t use and they were so nice and wouldn’t let me leave without a pair of glasses so Newie gave me new frames for free and said merry Christmas. Very nice people that will help you with whatever you need highly recommend

Prompt professional service.My Ray-Ban frames broke during the holidays and they offered a loaner set of frames until mine came in. I decided to keep the loaners. Very satisfied customer.
