A gem of a little preschool nestled in Rocky Hill’s historic schoolhouse building. We felt really lucky that we were able to secure a place for our daughter here we when she was three. Nurturing teachers who fill the childrens’ days with creative activities and lots of fun play, our daughter absolutely loved her time here and, being a coop, it felt really special to be able to directly witness this part of her life/development on days helping out in the classroom.

We have been so pleased with our experience at RHCNS for our son. He has been given a personalized learning experience and his social skills have improved tremendously with the support of Rocky Hill’s wonderful teachers. The classroom is warm and inviting, with a wide variety of carefully-tailored curriculum and play materials. The facilities are clean and organized. The school community is very inclusive and friendly, making our family feel welcomed right from the start. Best decision we could’ve made was choosing Rocky Hill for his preschool education!

Rocky Hill Cooperative Nursery School is wonderful place that nurtures and empowers children. The teachers provide a learning environment filled with independence and the parents play an active roll in the school. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a loving environment for their kids.

My daughter goes to RHCNS as a 2.5-year-old. RHCNS is a great school with loving teachers. Mrs. L is an expert in early childhood education. Mrs. G is very experienced and magical! Crying kids seek comforts from her and can always calm down quickly!I love how they've set up the classrooms with tons of cool toys and activities that are just right for their age. During playtime, the kids get to pick whatever they want to do, which is awesome because it lets them explore and be creative. Then there's circle time and music time, where everyone joins in together—it's such a lively atmosphere!I love how they get the kids outside as long as the weather permits! They're out there in their snowsuits, having a blast in the snow, and when it's warmer, they're off on nature walks. And those special events? So much fun! From picking fruit to visiting the post office, the kids are making memories that'll stick with them—and us parents too!But what I love most about RHCNS is the sense of community. It's like one big family here, with parents chipping in and helping out however they can. It's just such a warm and welcoming environment for both kids and families alike.

Our daughter loves RHCNS! Such a welcoming school environment. The teachers treat each student with such kindness and compassion. They foster independence and I can tell the lessons taught are having a very positive outcome at home. The daily activities set up are always fun and truly engage all the senses. Highly recommend this school if you are in the area or near by!

The best school experience for our little two! Mrs. Linden and Mrs. G are incredible and so patient! They set up carefully curated art and sensory activities, sing and read a variety of stories, explore nature, engage in tons of pretend play, and more! We are so lucky to be a part of such a beautiful community!

Best school on earth! What a gem. Our two children have flourished so much through carefully curated sensory activities, music, pretend play, and so much more. Our kindergartener keeps asking to go back! Mrs. Linden and Mrs. G are amazing human beings with the biggest hearts. We thank you for all your hard work and effort always!

This place is absolutely magical. My oldest child graduated from Rocky Hill Co-op last year, my middle child currently attends, and my youngest will start in a couple of years. We couldn't be happier with the amazing teachers. They have decades of experience in early education, and it shows. We were looking for a program that emphasized play-based learning and social skills development, which led us to Rocky Hill Co-Op. The classroom is full of opportunities for exploration and creativity - it seems like they never do the same projects twice. It's also located right on the edge of a park with trails, so during the nicer months, they spend tons of time outside in the woods. My daughter comes home every day with a giant grin on her face and new stories about the day's adventures. This place is truly a gem in the community, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

We are so glad this was our child's first school experience. Our child started off the year very apprehensive and is now excited to go to school and sad when he doesn't have school. This small school and community have been a great experience for our family. We really like that they value giving children the to take a lead in their own learning and focus on play and nature. The teachers really care about the students and families that attend, and I especially appreciate all the updates we get about what they've been up to each day. A truly special part about this school is that it is a co-op and parents get to take a roll in their child's educational experience.

We found RHCNS through Music Together, which they offer in the classroom. Teachers are vibrant and compassionate, philosophy is play-based & nature-intensive. Both of my kids have made so many fun memories here!

This school is incredible! Our daughter loves it so much and talks about all the wonderful activities she does all the time. She has grown so much in such a short period of time. I also love being able to share in her early education experience and have become a part of a welcoming community of parents. The teachers are warm, loving and knowledgeable. Best decision we have made so far for our child.
