“My husband and I just recently purchased our first house through Weichert and are so in love with our dream home! Jennifer Hyatt, our realtor, worked with us throughout the whole home buying experience. At first, we were just looking to rent and happened to meet her because she was managing a rental we had looked at in Indian Lake. After talking and getting to know us a bit more, she suggested getting in touch with one of Weichert's mortgage advisors, Jack Ma, to see what we'd qualify for in terms of owning a home. My husband and I had been saving for a few years thinking we needed to do the traditional 20% down payment but after speaking with Jack, we realized we'd be able to afford a home much sooner.

Jen was so on top of researching potential options and updating us with new listings. She got to know us on a personal level and understood exactly what we were looking for. We had changed our minds on what we wanted a few times and were probably a pain with all the indecisiveness but she was such a trooper and always happy to tour a house with us. She knew all the things to consider when choosing a home and what to look for in terms of issues that may arise during an inspection. She's very familiar with the lake communities and lakefront homes which is what we had originally been looking at but then decided to look for a house with a pool instead that would be closer to our jobs. When we found THE ONE in Martinsville, Jen got us a tour right away and made the long trip with us even though it was outside of her usual vicinity. Once we decided this was the house, she really looked out for us throughout the whole process of making an offer and then, once it was accepted, getting through attorney review and closing. Jack got us set up with a great mortgage loan with a very low interest rate too, which was an added bonus.

Jen was so flexible with scheduling and happy to answer our calls and questions at all hours of the day. She stayed on top of communication between mortgaging and attorneys and was so polite and professional with everyone involved. She gave us a great recommendation for our house inspection (Paul & Ryan from HouseMasters) who also recommended Fred from Stone Harbor Pools for the pool inspection. Everyone was so thorough and knowledgeable. As first time home buyers, it was reassuring to know they all had our best interests at heart and were great at explaining everything that goes into maintaining a home/pool. We definitely felt more confident as home owners and were very impressed with everyone's work.

My husband and I loved working with Jen and looked forward to seeing her every time we met up. I was super picky about finding the perfect home but I was so pleasantly surprised at how quick the process actually took.
