“I’ve been washing my clothes in laundromats since I was a kid. I usually frequent a particular laundromat in Newark near my house that I feel comfortable going to - but yesterday I decided to stop in and try Garwood Laundromat since I was in the area. I am very pleased with my decision. The machines are new and efficient - and although they are priced a bit higher than the ones in Newark - their efficiency makes up for it. I also like that you can pay with quarters, or load a store card and use that. There aren’t many places to fold clothes, but it wasn’t busy at all the night that I went, and I didn’t have trouble finding a spot to fold. They have oversized dryers which are my favorite to use for large loads - which are very reasonably priced. There is ample parking, and a pizzeria near by in case you’re hungry and want to grab a slice. I will be back for sure.”

“I had a wool coat and men's suit cleaned here! My coat had some musty odors and it came back clean and with no more odor! The staff are friendly and the location is very convenient with a parking lot in the back. There are coupons for new customers on their website!”
“Laundromat is always very clean, no gimmicks, machines are well maintained and work well. I have been coming here for almost 3 years and my laundry is clean and dry. I have never wasted a quarter. I'm writing this review because I don't take it for granted, I used a lot of other Laundromats here in Bayonne and I definitely can't recommend them, especially the big ones where you think you're getting a deal with all the gimmicks.”

“I write this with a full heart. I can’t say enough about how wonderful this dry cleaners is! I came in with a very unusual request — I needed help taking body measurements for a traditional dress being made abroad for my wedding. I live alone and didn’t have anyone available to help, so I called to see if they offered this kind of service. Without hesitation, they told me to come in.
When I arrived, they welcomed me warmly and made me feel so comfortable. She kindly helped me video call my tailor overseas and followed his instructions step by step, taking the exact measurements he needed and reading them out for him. She was patient and sweet.
At the end, when I went to pay, she refused to take any money — she did it as a pure act of kindness. I insisted, but she wouldn’t let me. I was so touched. This dress is for my traditional wedding back home in Africa, so her kindness means more to me than words can say.
You can tell they really care about their customers and their community. While I was there, I noticed they greeted regulars by name and even joked around with me and made banter. They clearly go above and beyond, whether it’s last-minute requests, unusual needs like mine, or just their day-to-day service.
If you’re looking for a dry cleaners or tailoring service that genuinely cares, is flexible, welcoming, and provides exceptional customer service, look no further. I am beyond grateful for my experience here and I will absolutely be back. Highly, highly recommend!”

“I had two white jeans and a white polo shirt and which two other cleaners could not get the stains out. The stains weren’t even faded when I received it back from the other people! I came to gold hanger cleaner, and they got the stains out that were extremely difficult. They charged me extra, which was worth every penny as I had. The polo shirt altered, which cost even more And I was not giving up. I even had both pairs of jeans altered to fit me tighter I would say 97% Of the super difficult stains were removed if I had to estimate. They are incredible and the owners are so kind especially the woman. I will always go here.”

“I have nothing but the highest respect for this Taylor cleaning service. I had a beat it gown with a beaded jacket heavily beat it and I gave it to somebody to alter it for me. She was a friend of mine. She never did. I had one week before the wedding that I was in and I had to have that gown. Call my girlfriend up she told me about while you wait. I called up frantic. She told me to come right on. She stayed up all night long fixing my gown by hand because you couldn’t do it on a machine. I was never so happy in my life. It fit me like a glove. Her price was reasonable as well. All I wanted to do was just kiss her and hug her.”
