“It’s a Utsav Hindu mandir of Swaminarayan Bhagwan. All the Hindu Utsav’s are celebrated with joy and happiness. All the Hindu festivals are celebrated traditionally at mandir, naivedh is being prepared with utmost purity and offered to the deities. There after prasad is consumed by many devotees here during all the celebrations and weekly on Saturdays. Occasionally, the religious leader of Shri NarNarayan Dev Gadi, His Hiloness 1008 Shri Koshelendra Prasadji Maharaj visits the temple and showers his blessings upon the saints and devotees.”

“I love their wednesday afternoon senior gathering. I went there to pick up my mom and they welcomed me like I was one of the regulars. Since church is in a crime ridden neighborhood I wish they had security on staff or locked doors but I understand that might not be possible because of a tight money budget”

“The most beautiful Catholic Church on Staten Island. Inside is so incredible with the stained glass windows, the center gold tabernacle, and the wooden statues. It's truly a Marian church.....very reverent Novus Ordo Mass and excellent priests.”
“I grew up in Bayonne and my sisters & brother all attended Our Lady Star of the Sea way back when Father Wall was there, in the 70’s. This was our Church. I have never been to another Church as beautiful as St. Mary’s. I have great memories & miss it so very much. I’m now living close to LBI but am going to make the trip to Mass & Confession Saturday. We all had all of our sacraments here. I can’t wait to go! I do wish there was a Latin Mass as it was many decades ago.”
