This CVS location is fairly decent and convenient, near city hall and restaurants. The store itself is great, usually well-stocked, and most employees are really helpful and warm. The pharmacy staff is very good at texting when medications are ready. However, the pharmacy customer service needs to improve. It can be very difficult to call and speak directly with a pharmacist due to an annoying automated system. There have also been instances of rude service, including staff yelling at customers and closing for lunch while prescriptions are waiting, causing frustration and delays. The store experience is all right, with prompt help at self-checkout, but the place seems a little dingy and old and could be brightened up. The card aisle is often a mess and poorly organized compared to other stores, and sale items from the flyer are frequently not marked on shelves or are out of stock.
CVS has been my pharmacy for years. I use the one on St. George's Ave. In Linden. The pharmacy staff is warm and very helpful. They are very good at texting when meds are available for pick up. The pharmacist can almost always reached by phone!

It is sooooo difficult to call and speak with a pharmacist!! Instead they have you speak with an automated system that is soooooo annoying!! Literally called for a 2 min convo or even less & have to go through all of that! Apart from that I don’t have an issue with obtaining any meds.
