I have to honestly say that when visiting the Dollar Tree in Roselle, I saw something amazing. A customer asked my mom, who works at the Dollar Tree, to help her pick up some decorations for her apt., which was small and her $$ was low. My mom suggested a few items and the lady was so happy that she asked my mom for a hug. My mom is 75 yrs old and has to work to be able to pay her bills. She has always been a hard worker and has gone above and beyond to make sure her kids were taken care. I wish I could help her financially but I myself am on a fixed income. With that said, my mom's English is not great (and yes she is a citzen, we are from Puerto Rico) but she loves to help ppl out. I hate that she has to work til late sometimes, as I fear that she may get robbed or hurt. However, it's nice to see when customers appreciate her dedication and love for what she does. Most often, she is having to ask customers not to make a mess after she worked long and hard (with her hands that hurt). Ppl sometimes can be mean and it's times like this that make me think that there are still good ppl in the world. Thank you to the customer who thought enough to make my mother's day a little brighter!!

As per the store, it’s clean, organized and has so many wonderful things. As per the employees, SO RUDE! I was the next in line and an employee decided to cut me and had $27 worth of things to purchase. So now I’m waiting on her. She could’ve kindly asked to go next. The cashier was just as rude, I had my things in a store basket and she said asked if it was mine, which was obvious that it was mine and I answered yes so she took the whole basket and spilled it on the belt. Her whole body language and demeanor showed that was annoyed. But, really? Was that really an annoyance? Maybe she’s had a bad day, sorry for her but these employees need more courtesy.

This place is okay, but the landscaping is very unkept and the exterior speaks, "We do not care about you!" Most go here for the great quantity you can get for very low prices. Sure the advertised, said store's name reads "DOLLAR TREE" when items costs more than a dollar here; false advertisement, we know. Stores do whatever they can to pull in the masses until customers truly really see and learn what they are all about. We suppose convenience and the lower prices keep customers shopping here anyway, though we do not either support or condone Dollar Tree's stance in this regard. The staff is nice here; and, despite catering to those who are otherwise disadvantaged and underprivileged, this store is a nice size. Its size is way better than other Dollar Tree stores in the affluent areas, such as Cranford, Westfield, and other locations west of Linden, New Jersey.
