“Well.. its been 2yrs since my detail from The Automat. I didn't get to write a review, then totally forgot about it. As I was washing my car today, I couldn't help think about how good of a job they did. I have a 08' VW Jetta, Salsa Red. I was looking to get a complete detail, paint restored and everything. At the time, the red was dull and swirled up pretty bad. I dropped the car off, they gave me a loner which was nice since I didn't live near by. When I picked up the car it looked great, but to be honest I thought it could of been a little better. At the time, I was just expecting the paint to look brand-new again but the car was 14yrs old so not sure why I was thinking that. All my friends noticed the difference and how shiny and reflective, deep, like a mirror the car looked now. I was only looking at scratches and they couldn't get all of them fixed, but 90% were. So I was probably expecting too much for 14yr old paint, that's why I didn't ever write the review. As I learned more of the process and how paint is on cars and talking with other detailers that I know, The Automat did a really, really good job. I feel bad I didn't write this earlier. I had the car done in 2021, and it still looks just as good the day I picked it up from them.In the 2 pics below the water drops stayed over a week in my garage just like that. “First visit, so I didn't know what expect since there wasn't any current reviews or tips. I decided to go and was quite surprised the cleaning the car wash did. Lastly, the one guy performing the dry off...he did an excellent job!!”
“I come here quite often from Budd Lake because there is never a wait and everything always works here. I’ve never had to be rushed out (I do a thorough wash) which is nice. Only complaint is that even when you put cash in the machine it takes a few dollars out from the time. Not sure if they charge more than a dollar a minute but they don’t specify. I’ve met the guy who does maintenance/owner and he’s very nice too.”
“I had my car detailed a few weeks ago. Amazing! I had stains in my seats that the other place I went to couldn’t get out. Chester was able to. Still a small stain that Danny offered to redo. I just haven’t had time to drop the car off. My go to!”
“Decent car wash with okay prices. I did pay for the ultimate package which should include trunk cleaning and found out when I was home they did not vacuum the trunk. I hope I received everything else I paid for but you never really know at these places.”

“This place was the first time there and it was friggin AMAZING.... They even got inside the cup holders.... They found a new customer without a doubt.... I was waiting for the windshield to get that foggy smut after driving a bit and it never happened.... really really great place for the first time... I splurged and got the special and it was like a mini detailing.... very very good and I recommend.... I wish I took pictures but next time I will..”

“Over the past 5 years this BP has been a stop on my way to work most mornings. The pump attendant in the morning on weekdays is a fine example of a happy-go-lucky human. This gentleman is always smiling and never misses an opportunity to greet you. Inside, the owner and his son are extremely helpful and friendly as well. Coffee is always fresh and prices are always fair.”

“Great car wash. They allow you to use their vacuum for free as long as you have your car washed, which is a win - win for customers and business. The best thing about their vacuums are they clean them more frequently then most places, meaning you don't have to have that nasty musty smell that usually comes out of commercial vacuums at car washes. ??”
