I try to get to the shoprite store at the least busiest times, because I hate shopping ( go figure! ). I am Happy that they have numerous self checkout registers. The experience is we quick in and quick out. The store layout facilitates that. I'm wondering what's going to happen to the space that was occupied by the liquor store.

3 Reasons not to Recycle Exchange here :
1. The machine doesn’t print out a ticket and you will have to ask customer service for one
2. They claim it’s not an “even” exchange and you just receive 50% off your next 5G bottle. What sign did YOU read???
3. Poland Spring, the only brand you receive this deal on, is DOUBLE THE PRICE of all the other branded 5G bottles available!!
Scam! Shame on Poland Spring, and shame on ShopRite.

Listen I like Shop Rite, generally but this Shop Rite does a lot of price scamming. Halo mandarins, the sign says 3 lbs. $5.99, they charge $5.99 for a 2 lb. bag. You point this out and they don't care. The meat that they wrap, whatever the price per pound. I go home and weigh it, it's short. They include the packaging in the weight of the meat. That is a scam.

I go here specifically because they have a great selection of vegan and gluten-free snacks. As a vegan with a gluten allergy, I love this supermarket!

I haven't been to this SR in years and I was pleasantly surprised all departments upgraded. Excellent selection of fresh produce, meats, cheese, and prepared foods.

GOOD PLACE TO BUY YOUR GROCERIES.
ShopRite® of Succasunna is similar to every other ShopRite® in the area. They all have their good and bad qualities.
The ShopRite® of Succasunna is NOT A 24/7 SHOPRITE® like the ShopRite® of Rockaway. Be aware of their Hours of Operation, mainly their Closing Hours.
The Customer Service / Returns Desk is located right infront of the building, behind the Self Check-out registers. Visible when you come through the second automated entrance door(s). Never had an issue returning anything or when asking a question.
This ShopRite® Bakery doesn't have a fresh baked variety of single Muffins or Bagels. (None of the times when I've been there.) Not sure about the fresh baked Rolls.
They do have a LARGER VARIETY OF FRESH MEALS AND SIDES made there, though. There's always a lot of people crowded looking to get something.
They also have a little buffet of sides, soups, salads. Choose what you want, pick it up yourself, and add it to your take-out container(s).
Along with PREPARED MEALS*, already priced, ready to Pick-up & Go, right when you walk in (towards the fresh produce section), on your left, against the display wall. [*Sliced chicken breast, mashed potatoes, and some veggies.]

Although the customer service desk associates were pleasant my store experience was definitely lacking. On a Wednesday afternoon the signage was not in place for sales 4 days old. The receipt that I was given was nearly impossible to read and since I participate in a savings website where I scan my receipts to obtain points this is not acceptable. I purchased several items because of the points available to me but I won't get them. The store was messy. It was just a bad experience and I will go out of my way to shop elsewhere in the future.
