They assign a different plan than discussed, attach very large bill, then don’t fix the bill and they disconnect you until you pay the amount. I’ve had 3 months of dispute now. I’ve overpaid at least $1000 now. They have not fixed it yet. Every time I go there there are people with similar complaints.
I will be reporting this to the NJ Division of Consumer affairs.

I was in this morning shortly after they opened and was greeted by Alyssa. I had an older phone and was having some issues. I was eligible for an upgrade so I wanted to see what my options would be. Alyssa took her time explaining my options, I never felt rushed. She went above and beyond helping me set up my new phone. By far the friendliest and most helpful Verizon employee I have met. Thank you!

The store helped me fix an overcharge mistake that Verizon Customer Service failed to help me with over the phone twice. Thanks to the store manager, Steve for helping me resolve this issue and getting refunded over $1,000 for the complex issue and overcharges. Only doing business in this store moving forward.

I had the best experience picking up my new phone today! Andrew was quick to help. He even helped me set up a new phone line for my mom and add her to my plan. The plan we set up was everything I was looking for and more! I was able to get multiple devices for a GREAT discount, something I’m super thankful for. I had a lot of questions and he was able to answer them all in ways a basic customer can understand; no weird technical lingo to confuse you. Today was totally unexpected for me, but we were able to set everything up in little over an hour, which made an unexpected event super pleasant. Thank you, Andrew!

This location is a joke and don’t know what they are doing, first they tell me they can’t accept a trade in because they don’t have record of it (went to the original store the transaction occurred which was able to verify there is a available trade in) then come to find out this store locked the device TO THEIR APPLE ID SO I CANT TRADE IT IN) now I have a bricked device that is locked to one of their employees apple IDs. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME. Cooperate is going to have a field day with this one.
UPDATE:
Still nothing from corporate as of 02/03/2025. Went back to the store because they did this to our watch and were the rudest possible people. They kept saying no one there did it. You better check your Cameras of 12/23/2024 at 1:08pm because we were there for HOURS and you did this at that time. This is ridiculous and the reason that we will no longer be staying with your services.

I wanted to share my experience during my visit today. As soon as I walked in, I felt quite uncomfortable. I was there to pick up my son’s new phone and had a few questions, but unfortunately, I didn’t receive any assistance.
One staff member, in particular, with a long beard and mustache, seemed dismissive and gave me an attitude, which only added to my discomfort. Because of this experience, I’ve decided that I will not return to your store in the future.
I believe customer service is crucial, and I hope someone can address this issue for the benefit of future customers.
