Gorgeous, charming little cafe with beautiful pastries and delicious small plates. Had to knock off a star, partially due to the lackluster service, but mostly for the typos. If your whole gimmick is being a French style cafe and market, you should probably spell the French words on your menus correctly. Love absolutely everything else about this place though!

This charming market- cafe is usually busy, serves delicious pastries, coffee, salads, etc.It is on the pricey side, which is probably due to its location, but worth the splurge. We only had a beverage and a cinammon bun, I am sure everything is delicious but cannot speak to their other fare.On my last visit, I was told they did not have a restroom, which I found odd. That is why I gave it 4 stars.Staff is always very pleasant.

The French Market recently catered an event for me and it was AMAZING! Not only was the food fresh and delicious but presentation was exceptional. They worked with me to plan the perfect party menu and every detail was attended to! Exceeded my expectations. I'm still receiving compliments. I highly recommend.

The aesthetic was pure charm. However, the service was anything but. I stopped in for a cup of coffee ☕️ one morning, and I entered to no greeting, no smile, no acknowledgment from the cashier who stood a mere five feet from the door. As there were no other customers, I stepped up to the register and ordered my coffee. The cashier rang up the order and then swiveled the screen around so I could complete the tip section (as if). I did press 3% because so far, while non-plussed by the service, I could still forgive the non-greeting because customer service is not what it used to be, but after the register was swiveled back to its rightful position, that is where our interaction ended. No other words besides prompting me to fill out the tip were exchanged. No cup nor coffee or direction was delivered. I didn't want to trouble the cashier with a question, so I turned to look around and then saw the urns with the stacks of paper cuos and lids beside them. I then realized that I had tipped a girl to not greet me, not serve me coffee, and not even tell me where to go to serve myself coffee. The coffee was OK and it was hot ? which isn't always the case from an urn, so that was a plus. But a good cup of coffee is a lot easier to find than good customer service.

Charming stop for coffee, tea, pastries, and light bites. The location is absolutely beautiful and clean. We were instantly transported to France as soon as we approached the entrance. Staff were friendly and helpful and the almond croissant was perfect. We loved the paninis so much that we returned two days later to have them again. Parking is available next to the building, as well as on the street.

Can't say enough about this gem of a place. Everything I've had has been top-notch, hopefully they don't change.

Great sandwiches. I had the fig and goat cheese sandwich on one occasion and the French BLT on another occasion. They were both exceptional.

Cute and charming ambiance BUT ... where is a nice knowledgeable staff so that I can order something? I'm celiac and must eat gluten free. Not one of the three people working (including the cook) could answer what the crepes are made of. All 3 had no clue about ANY ingredients in ANY of the food. It is so obvious when an establishment doesn't want to pay for decent help. I have to guess that sacrificing service will cost the place money in the long run. When I worked in the restaurant industry, we were tested to make sure we knew all the ingredients of every dish. If I were working that shop, I'd know what all the food was about and I'd be sure I could answer customer questions. I'd never be ok with 3 dumbfounded faces just staring and shrugging. And the 'chef' would know to toast the bread for a Croque Monsieur (I had the foresight to bring my own bread). And why did we have to eat our dine-in order out of a box? If these are new owners ... I implore you, don't be another nice business ruined because you think paying for decent help doesn't matter. It does. A sad experience.Dietary restrictions: All three staff members shrugged their shoulders and stared cluelessly - including the chef - when I asked about any gluten free options. The chef didn't even know what kind of flour the crepes are made from. Not a place for any one with dietary restrictions since they have no idea what's in their food.

Adorable little French market. The decor is rustic and beautiful. Both the food and the coffee were delicious. I had the Parisian ham and egg on a roll and it was larger than I had expected. Took home a small petite chocolate flourless cake topped with chocolate ganache (no picture as I forgot to take it before I ate it ?) and it was rich and scrumptious. Cannot wait to go back and try something new.

My girlfriend and I took a chance picking this place. Very satisfied, I got the sausage egg and cheese on a croissant and was so happy with the egg being cooked perfectly, nice and fluffy and the cheese melted. My GF got the mushroom quiche and was also satisfied. For a treat to go, I got a giant chocholate chip cookie that was also delicious. The atmosphere of the interior is very cozy, prices are affordable, and employees are friendly. Very good find, if I visit the area again Im definitely coming back. Also for the coffee being freshly brewed, its so hard to find a good iced coffee that isnt watered down, they also nailed it on the spot for the coffee, a very great way to start my morning!!

The French Market will always be one of my favourite places to visit in NJ.It has a beautiful and peaceful, French inspired atmosphere. There is so much attention given to the smallest details to create this lovely space. Exquisite gift and design elements can be found throughout. The french inspired baguette sandwiches are simply amazing especially when paired with the rich, yummy coffee.Great selection of french baguettes and fromage to choose from. And service is always delivered with great care and friendly faces.100% would recommend this amazing place!!
