It is a nice place to go with your family. The staff are attentive. Their pizzas are thin crust but they are very good. We had burgers, wings, calamari and fries and they were great. It is definitely a place I go to anytime I am around the area.

Cute place, good service, absolutely awful food. Had an overcooked burger and a salad that literally came out of the plastic bag and tasted like garbage

I cannot thank Vals Tavern enough for helping to plan my mom’s surprise 60th birthday party. We used the upstairs private room with our own bar and balcony. John, the event planner, was attentive from the very beginning, and provided helpful information throughout the process of planning. It was such a pleasure speaking with John and working with him. We owe the success of the party to John and his caring staff. Jeff, the bartender, ensured each of our guests were always taken care of, along with being so polite and friendly. Courtney, the manager, was fantastic to work with. She ensured everything ran smoothly for our party. They were all beyond professional while being such kindhearted people to be working with throughout the night. Our guests raved about the food and customer service. Everyone went above and beyond to make our night one to never forget, and I owe it all to Val’s Tavern for such a wonderful party.

Went for a private party upstairs, they could not have been more accommodating! Wonderful, friendly, and the food was AMAZING!! Thank you Courtney for everything!

Food was Excellent. Bleu cheese burger was awesome. Tom Vincent was the highlight of the night; awesome performance. Nailed Bowie's space odyssey, not to mention his rendition of Andre Bocceli.

To be fair we caught them on a tough day. It was very busy and they were short staffed. But, there were several challenges with forgotten orders, or missing food, or wrong food delivered, or taking super long or not good food. To their credit, they made everything right with rectifying mistakes. So, we will give it another try but order carefully.

What happened to Vals? The food was always well prepared and service attentive. Tonight the eggplant was burnt and the margarita pizza the worse i have ever had.

Stopped by for dinner after a day on the beach. Super friendly staff, amazing apps and dinner and great atmosphere. Wish I had this place closer to where I live, but will definitely stop by again next time I'm in the area.

Went to Val's for dinner with 2 friends on Saturday Aug. 19 at 6:30 PM. As soon as we sat down, a band started playing that was way, way to loud for a small room with a low ceiling. They were putting out enough watts to play MetLife Stadium. You could not talk to the person next to you without screaming in their ear. The servers could not hear you to take your order. We complained to the server, the hostess and the bartender. They all said they had multiple requests to turn down the music and told " the manager." We asked to be moved outside to the terrace. Nothing was done. The table next to us made the same complaints. We will never go back to Val's again.
