Very easy return. The car was perfect. The rate was very competitive vs normal rentals. Fully insured, brand new, unlimited milage. Loved it”

If your expectation is more on utility, this place is a lot of bang for your buck.I booked and prepaid online, which made it relatively cut and dry. Kept the car (inside) clean (smoke free, obviously) and returned it with a full tank, just like I got it. Pretty standard rental car stuff. No nasty surprises or gotchas in the end, as I was 30 mins early to return, with no damages to the car or issues of any kind, although out of caution I do always opt for the LDW insurance to fully cover the rental car incase of anything. It isn't worth the headache of chancing any issues with the car, ever. At the counter there is a pretty crystal clear disclaimer displayed directly on the counter which details a $250 and $450 cleaning fee, depending on what most with common sense would consider inappropriate for a rental car. You'll have to read the details yourself, but again it's standard rental car stuff. It mentioned something about keeping a pet and pet hair in 1 area of the car, etc. For me that's somewhat stabdard - you can't really completely soil a car and return it thinking someone will spend an hour cleaning it, let's be honest. These things are nuanced but I kept my car clean, and removed my trash before returning it, simply out of respect.I mention utility because while I didn't care - this location does not have a car wash, so don't expect a spotless car on the outside. Why am I still giving 5 stars? Because I what I paid for the car was considerably less than a lot of other locations. You cannot have your cake and eat it too! For the price I paid, I was VERY happy with the utility of the car I was given. The inside was clean and smoke free. A good newish Chevy Malibu with about 17.5k miles on the clock, drove fine and was full size, just like I booked and prepaid online. The paint was not perfect, but again, I really didn't care, I was looking for wheels to get me places, and the car did that flawlessly. Hence 5/5 stars. I don't need someone to white glove treatment me when I pickup and dropoff, I just want it to work and be straight forward, which it very much was. Count me as 1 happy customer, no complaints.Long story short, I found no faults at this Budget or with the manager here, although I was worried because of the many negative reviews here on gMaps.??? “No issues whatsoever. Car was fine, Sardan was curt but also totally okay. I spent 2 minutes ensuring the car was at least as clean when I returned it, as when I got it - and hence had no problems. The prices at this location are often much better than a bigger more polished Avis location, so I don’t expect the same level of service. You can’t have your cake and eat it too!
