Exorbitant pricing. May be it’s because they give you a very good couch and the ambience to sit. I would rather prefer a local tax filer as they charge unreasonably for the service.

Looks like HRB somehow got Google to take down my initial review from last year. I JUST (end of Feb '24) received my return from last year (filed early Feb '23) after jumping through a ton of hoops with the IRS for the last 6 months. Ended up getting back an extra 20%, plus interest, because there was a mistake on the form. And I paid almost as much as I did to the accountant I was using for the last 20 years. First and last time. I can screw up my own tax return for free.

Our accountant Vladimir is conveniently there for us. We've been going there since bout 2019.

Had a 10Am appointment to have a second look scheduled and they very rudely told me they had no time to look over my taxes. The person I had an appointment with was not even in the office and essentially hung up on me saying she had a meeting to get to. I will never go back to this branch again!

Went to a tax professional, since I am not a tax expert to clarify why I have to pay a particular amount on my tax return, that question was met with hostility asking me to leave, without me even knowing what the hell is going on. First interaction with front desk was her complaining of thick Indian accents.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. They completely messed up my tax return, didn't even TRY to apologize or explain anything to me. Instead, brushed me off. Regina and Deidra have absolutely no customer service. I had to ASK for them to be nice to me and try to fix my situation. Don't go to this location, I can't express it enough. The entire process was a nightmare with their website and app constantly having technical issues. Never trusting H&R block again, that is for sure. EXTREMELY disappointing.

Been working with H&R Block in-person at the Rutherford, NJ office for the past 3 + years. I am confident that I'm being well taken care of, and that my taxes are handled professionally and submitted without incident. I won't ever use the on-line service again.
