Brought my Subaru EJ255 Heads for cleaning and resurfacing. I got my engine back on the road and 5000 miles 4 months in and it's running perfectly. Kept cams and bolts organized.

I highly recommend Headmaster. They are incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and committed to excellent service. My car had a persistent check engine light issue that no one—and I mean no one—could fix, despite taking it to several places. Finally, I turned to Headmaster, and they got it right. Their dedication to solving the problem and ensuring customer satisfaction truly sets them apart. Highly recommended!!!

In August 2024 I took my 2013 Grand Jeep to Headmaster to get a quote on what was later found to be a Rocker Arm tap. I ask the mechanic on site whom I was told to be one of the owners to come out and listen to the tap he l said it wasn't necessary he understands what the issue is and quoted me a estimate of $4,500 to re-build the right side of the engine. I took my Jeep over to Bargain Corner in Paterson, the owner came out to listen to the tap and showed me an example of what he believed to be the problem, a worn out Rocker Arm. Bargain Corner took the Jeep and in a day and 1/2 replaced the Rocker Arm for less than $500 My Jeep runs like new. BEWARE OF HEADMASTER!

The worst experience I've ever had at a mechanic, I've had the check engines on for 8 months and they don't find the problem every time, it's something different, definitely if I could give it 0 stars I would, zero professionalism

The worst. Engine shop around. Fair enough the guys seem cool. But when I asked for my block to be honed and balanced they said it would take a week. It took a month. Then I wanted it dipped and too have no rust to look like new. He said sure no problem. After receiving my block in wrapped up plastic I undid the wrapping and then proceeded to look at what is a rusty block just what I left. I also asked for paint but they did not do that either. Pls do not come from one car enthusiast to another.

Headmaster's on 263 US Highway 46 Saddle Brook New Jersey 07 663 was highly recommended to me by multiple people as very good responsible caring outgoing to help customers with their vehicles so I took my 2011 Grand Jeep Cherokee Limited 5.7 v8 spoke to one of their top men in their name Carl that my vehicle had a loud ticking noise coming from the engine which he allegedly inspected and said I know exactly what it is I deal with these engines all the time it's the lifters you will have to leave your vehicle and we will take care of it so I explained to him that I had a coverage on it which was a partial coverage they will only cover 2400 when it was all over said and done my bill was $4,075.71 and I still have the loud ticking noise on my vehicle so I went back and was told that now it was the bottom part of the engine and they will have to take the engine apart again which I totally disagreed for the fact that they kept my vehicle for over two and a half months and gave it back to me the same is not worse condition that I gave it to them this has been the worst experience for such a high-quality recommendation mechanic in the process I'm taking them to court since my vehicle is still the same and I'm $4,075.71 out of pocket I would not recommend them to anyone sad how people take advantage of people for a buckService: Engine repair

Headmaster Automotive worked with me to replace an engine in my Ford - F150 pick up truck through an extended warranty policy. The process was very difficult because the warranty company tried everything they could not to pay for the replacement, but ultimately Headmasters Automotive got it done!
