It’s getting old. Needs an update. Two full size beds just aren’t big enough.

We made a onenight reservation for a medical convention we were attending. The hotel was nice, room was very nice, clean. Front desk attendant was pleasant. However, we were extremely disappointed upon our return to the hotel, the restaurant and bar were closed. We were there on a Friday night, it was 9:30 when we returned. There was a wedding party in the hotel, and by all indications, the hotel was full. A hotel that is minutes away from NYC should not have a restuarant/bar closing before midnight. We didn't expect a full menu, but at the very least there should have been a late night menu with the bar open until at least midnight. I am in the industry and found this to be unacceptable. The tv in our room worked, however, the guide on the tv and what was actually on were 2 different things. The date on the screen was July 1st?? The fact that we paid $200 for one night, I feel this hotel can do better.Rooms: Rooms were very clean.

This Marriott is a well appointed and modern facility. The rooms are spacious. The in-house restaurant serves two meals and has an expanded to-go service.Be prepared to pay for extras such as internet and breakfast.

The Marriott in Saddle Brook was by far the worst hotel I have ever experienced. Upon checking out this morning 2-25-24, I checked to make sure that there was no charges to my room. To my surprise the receptionist told me that there was a $29 charge to the room and ask me if I had breakfast this morning which I told her no!! She told me she would check with manager to remove the charge because this could have happened in error. The manager asked me the same question and I told her no breakfast. I along with my kids ate our food from home which I warm up in the hotel microwave. That manager then goes over to another employee at the restaurant. This individual was very aggressive and extremely rude. She then told me that two boys had breakfast this morning from my room. I reassure her that there was no boys in my room, just 3 girls and neither them or I ate breakfast this morning. She kept on accusing me of the boys from my room who had the breakfast. Because I am African American she assumed the two boys where with me and this is unacceptable. I told her to pull the camera to prove that we didn’t have breakfast and she told me that there are no cameras. How can a hotel of this caliber not have cameras? I then told her to come to my car and see that there are no boys in my car. After refusing, I went to my car and got my child, I then showed her and the manager the photo I took in the lobby of me and the girls eating their pizza that I warmed up in the hotel microwave. She was very combative, her body language was not one of someone in a professional environment. She walked away as we were still talking, still being very disrespectful and still accusing me of these two unknown boys who lied. The manager remove the charge and apologize, I did not and will not accept the Marriott’s apology, this is no way to treat a consumer. I also informed the front desk the was a brunch of children running all over the hotel from the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out with no adult supervision, these children were being extremely disruptive, they where screaming, running in and out of their rooms and running back and forth in the lobby, disturbing other patrons. Again there was no adult supervision. The running and screaming continued to about a little after midnight when someone in the room next to mine got into a very loud argument with I am assuming one of the children parent. The manager ask me what room I was in and explain the a hockey team was staying at the hotel and again gave another empty apology. Overall this was a terrible experience and I will be escalating this matter to Marriott’s corporate office. I main reason why I choose this hotel was for the pool, upon arriving to my room the pool was drained and closed, I was not informed of the prior to booking.

Came here for a stay with a chance for my family to enjoy the pool. Upon check in, found out the pool was being drained and demolished. Renovated room seemed to be missing an extra chair by the sitting table and there was a few minor but noticeable imperfections in the bathroom.

Friendly staff that are welcoming as soon as you arrive. Clean comfortable rooms, wonderful bar and restaurant. Had a cheeseburger and fries that was absolutely delicious.

Rooms: Some rooms have shared doors, and it's pretty annoying the noise or if you have an unconsidered smoker neighbor, the smoke of the cigarette goes to your room

This is probably the worst Marriott I’ve stayed in. When we arrived no one acknowledged us. When we were walking down the aisle to our room there was a strange//musty//old odor in it. There was a wedding party somewhere near us that had to be told to keep the noise down (I assume) by the front desk, yet the situation never got solved. The rooms looked dilapidated. The couch and rugs had stains in them. They don’t have basic free amenities like wifi or a simple free bottle of water. Yes, they charged us $20 for a bottle of water. Most hotels would have a sign saying this bottle of water cost more than a meal don’t open it unless you are dying. They also do not offer free parking. I understand some hotels now charge for it, but for the hotel price and their huge lot, they should lower the price or offer it for free.

They charge you for wifi, they charge you for parking, dirty and guetto looking, the immigrants that are working on the remodel, smoke around guest inside the hotel pool area. Never staying in a Marriott hotel again!

Not a great experience staying here , as early as 8:50am house keeping is banging on the door to clean when checkout is at 12:00pm , shortly after that they begin extremely loud construction around 9:30am which woke my entire room. Don’t stay here , you won’t

I absolutely had the worst experience at this hotel. I travel a lot so I stay at a lot of hotels, so I know what good service looks like. I noticed from the moment I stepped in I was never greeted and I had to wait to be acknowledged despite it being slow. At first I was given a horrible room that I could only enter by the stairs because apparently the elevator couldn't take me to my room because of renovations. I had a bunch of suitcases and I to take them all up the stairs by myself, I asked for someone to help me - all I got was someone to show me my room. It was weird dragging all my suitcase without anyone to help.It was also really weird to walk in the lobby and see employees arguing and yelling at each other... definitely wasnt pleasing to see.I was really looking forward to the gym. When I asked if there was a gym I was told "yes" only to get to the gym and realize it's under renovation. After asking 2 employees I find the so called "Gym" for it only to be a small office room with like 2 treadmills. Very disappointing, the receptionist didn't even tell me its under renovation. In general is was a very eerie environment, it wasn't friendly at all.The guy at the reception was also very cold despite me being very friendly. Very disappointing. The employees need to trained and know how to interact with customers especially when miscommunication or misunderstandings happen, jumping to conclusions and treating customers with disrespect and being rude in general is never okay. I love The Marriott and I usually have great experiences with them, but this specific location was just disappointing!
