I would STAY AWAY from this very shady owner. His name is Victor, real name is Vijay. He is very tricky. A lot of other reviews also say the same thing. I attempted to book my wedding here and he was doing nothing but making up a bunch of lies and forcing me to put a deposit down. Here are 2 examples of his many lies just to get our money.
1) the upstairs biggest room is split in 2. He claimed on one side you can easily fit 175-200 people easily with a dance floor. It would do max 125-130. He then retracted and said there’s no way it would fit after us leaving and coming back to put the deposit.
2) He then said the parking lot holds 400 cars. That’s a total lie anybody who’s been to this place can see it with their own eyes.
3) The food he offers is HORRIBLE. Do NOT get food from here if you plan an event. Cater from outside. Don’t believe me read the other reviews.
4) He says one price then he changes it up.
The place is not bad looking but if you want horrible service, bad food and lies, book your event here.

Food n service was great up until an employee sent by the manager wanted to charge us $25 for bringing in MY preferred wine to share with my family. I guess they didn't appreciate much after booking their venue for my whole parish

Literally so loud it shakes the ground, I wish I was joking. I was across the street and I heard the music's beat from Walmart. I live closeby and can barely sleep due to the loud bass of the music.

I recently attended a repast event. The food and service were fine, but there was confusion around the bar area. A bin with ice and Corona beers was placed on the bar counter, there was no sign indicating that these drinks were not complimentary or that they had an additional cost. None of the staff was present behind the bar, so it seemed like an open bar setup. My friends thought the beers were complimentary and started drinking them. When I went to get a beer myself, a man, who might have been the owner or manager, suddenly appeared and informed me that the beers were $10 each. I was taken aback because there had been no prior notice or signage to inform us of the cost. It would have been much clearer if there was a sign on the bar indicating the price or if there had been an announcement stating that the beers were not included in the event package. This confusion could easily be avoided with better communication.

Feb 10th 2024 I gave my daughter her Sweet 16 and the experience was GRADE A! The manager Victor is very nice and professional along with the staff! Thanks to everyone at the Excelsior my daughter’s party was beautiful and the food was great!!! We love this place.

Saw a sign about buffet on Tuesday through Saturday. I called and they said they decided only dinner. Ok so I called to make a reservation for Wednesday February 7 at 4 p.m. now they said buffet is only now on Sunday Will tell all my friends to not go there or book functions at this venvue

Horrible service. Venue issues trickled into a lot of issues we had with our event. Our event didn’t have enough venue staff, which got there late to assist with setting up. Valet was agreed upon, yet there was so staff for valet which caused attendees to be late as they were searching for parking. Food was horrible and there are leaks all through the room upstairs.

The Excelsior is nice but we booked room for a repast and upon arrival we noticed ppl were setting up for another event on the opposite side of the same room. I was unclear as to why the room would be shared without our knowledge. When booking the Excelsior make sure to ask for a private room because repasts should not be combined with other events. It was really in poor taste.
