We made the trip down from Massachusetts to visit The Fish Hut, and we’re so glad we did! The moment we walked in, we were greeted by a knowledgeable and enthusiastic team who clearly care about both their fish and their customers.
The selection of African cichlids was incredible — easily the biggest and most impressive variety we’ve come across. Whether you’re just starting out or already experienced in the hobby, this place has something for everyone.
A huge thank you to JR, Endrit, and Rich for taking the time to answer all of our questions and helping us pick the perfect fish for our tank. They were patient, professional, and genuinely excited to help us build something great.
If you're into freshwater fish, especially cichlids, The Fish Hut is absolutely worth the trip!

The Fish Hut is hands down one of the best aquarium stores we've visited! We traveled down from Massachusetts just to check it out, and it was well worth the trip. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and patient with all of our questions.
Their selection of African cichlids is amazing — the variety and quality were better than anything we've seen locally. Everyone there clearly knows their stuff and cares about both the fish and their customers.
A special shout-out to JR and Endrit who went above and beyond to help us select the perfect fish for our tank. They were knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely enthusiastic about helping us get it right.
We left with beautiful, healthy fish and a great experience. Highly recommend The Fish Hut if you're serious about building a quality tank!

I absolutely loved this place. Dylan was AMAZING he really is knowledgeable and loves what he does!
We came in looking for aquatic plants for my self sustained tank. He explained absolutely every single detail, I left with all i needed and what I could not obtain, he directed me where to get it! I will absolutely come back!!!! 🤍🤍 thank you so much!!!

amazing amazing experience! i got my 5 gallon tank and fishes from them for my 4yr old son who is obsessed with fishes. they have a wide selection of fish and are very knowledgable. as soon as we walked in we were attended rapidly and were more than happy to help. 5 stars! will def be going back to add more to our fish tank🥰

Best place to buy fish in the area! Everyone that works here is extremely helpful and knowledgeable on all things aquarium. I spoke with Jon Jr. and Pete and they both were able to answer all of my questions and give me plenty of advice. The fish are healthy and there are plenty to choose from. If they are out of stock of anything you’d like to purchase, they will take down your phone number and let you know once it’s in stock. The prices are reasonable and there are plenty of discounts if you buy several fish at once. I strongly recommend coming here.

Since getting into the hobby I’ve started coming to this hidden gem. The staff is outstanding. I’ve worked with Dylan and Junior. Both were knowledgeable and very patient with my many questions. They’ll tell you what fish will work in your tank size and which are compatible with your existing fish. All the fish I’ve purchased have been healthy. The shop also had a great selection of plants on my last visit. Highly recommend.
