The store has been declining each year that it’s been here. The manager must be too good to work because she’s never there and it’s just regular employees running the store on power trips since they have nobody managing them. The shelves are never stocked, it’s dirty, the employees are either rude or seem high and turn over rate is outrageous by the time you get used to a face they’re gone. The only worker who’s always respectful is an elder African American lady. This store is a bad image for the whole corporation.

Dollar General is a good store to go to if you need certain products. I like Dollar General in Salem because they sell produce. They also have really good deals on cereal and certain pizzas. I have noticed prices increased on products because of inflation. The employees were very friendly and helpful. I shopped around and bought mouthwash and toothpaste which were on sale.

So much trash outside the store. Just moved into the area and never experienced anything like it. It’s an abundance of trash just blowing around the lot. Also some guy soliciting customers to buy socks. He’s there everytime I’ve been there and the employees seem to have a report with him. They don’t say anything . Just very dirty outside.

I went to look for David sunflower seeds and I check on the app first it said they have 23 on stock then drive there and couldn't find a single bag I was disappointed.

Great place to get food. Nice and amazing staff.However when you order from them on delivery. They give you almost nothing you ordered and replace it with other items. Also the stock is almost empty of anything. Like c'mon your supposed to be a dollar general. Even the one in pennsville is better. Please manager fix the stock issueOtherwise a great store to shop at

Never have stock. Empty shelves and dangerous aisles blocked with unpacked inventory crates, cannisters, etc..No room for carts to fit down rows to shop. Customer service is unwelcoming, non helpful and obvious dislike their jobs.
