TD Bank is still implementing Wave 6, A part of Project More. Their computer system is programmed to not calculate pending transactions into available balances to increase over draft fees. It purposely holds pending transactions for up to two weeks. The online banking app is not even close to being accurate. I've been watching this happen very frequently. During times of record high inflation they are capitalizing on people's hard times. When I asked about this practice I get circle talk and refered to check balances on the app which is never accurate. Typical bank theft under the guise of being legal. Barely. Also notice how they never respond to a negative review. 2.6 stars. This establishment is 100% unethical and is operating in a very shady grey area. It's a shame they are one of the few local banks around here

Yes, avoid this bank!!I have been a long term customer. In 2010 I moved to Thailand, I didn't know how it would be, and asked TD to keep my account open and in good standing, they did until this year.Starting in 2021, and through all 2022, TD has caused a number of problems.I have had a TD Debit Card, but as there were no emergencies the card and account savings were unused.I'm just going to list the problems, in finishing I will detail the situation TD has left me.Problems:2021 sent paper-mail letter to incorrect address in Thailand - not express mail. Letter was lost for 4 months.2022:Salem branch emailed request for me to update my personal information, address and phone.TD contacts me, requesting personal information, address and phone - information on file isn't what I provided.TD deactivates my TD Card without informing me. So when I try it at my Bangkok Bank it is declined.I email TD why this happened, they say your card wasn't used for ~2 years so we deactivated it.I say well I need to use my card for health insurance and to replace my very old phone.Since they cannot reactivate the card a new one is sent, but not with express mail, so card is lost for weeks.I insist they send a replacement card via express mail.Surprisingly, my new card is declined for purchases, and at my Bangkok Bank.I email for help, they TD says the card was deactivated "for my protection".I ask TD to stop protecting me and allow the card to work, but I am never able to use my card, ever.Concerning health insurance - I missed the window when it was available because "no access to my savings".I ask TD Bank to mail a cashiers check - expensive and time consuming - to finally get me some money.Bangkok Apple Store tries to sell me an iPhone, my TD card is declined again, I pay cash.In the Apple Store I notice TD Bank used an incorrect phone number for authorization.All during 2022 my card was always declined yet no TD person could/would help me.TD finally closed my account... WOW!

Was having a family emergency and needed help with clearing a check deposit that was on hold due to high amount. Contacted the store manager to help me resolve the issue. Within hours I was able to have access to my funds that weren’t supposed to clear for another week. Thank you very much, you have no idea how much this help means to my family right now!

I have always had great customer service experiences here. I’ve been banking here for about a year and a half. The management is great and every teller that I have dealt with has been courteous and helpful.

If I could rate them a 0 I would. They have taken do much money out of account and then charged me with overdraft fees for not having enough money in my account because they took it. I called to get it back and they either did nothing at all or got smart with me. WORST BANK EVER!!!

Not understanding how it takes 40 minutes to cash a check from TD BANK themselves. Tellers were rude and had an attitude the whole time. Avoid this place at all costs.

TD Bank in Salem has been our bank for over nine years, and we're quite happy with it. They have generous business hours, the tellers and management are friendly and helpful, and while they're not open on Sundays, the ATM is accessible 24/7 in the secured atrium. The drive-up stays open until 6pm Monday through Thursday, and matches the lobby hours on Saturdays and Sundays. They even provide free notary service for their customers, which has helped us more than once. They offer many other services, as well, all described on their website. (I'm especially fond of their free Bill Pay service.) As long as we can keep $100 in our account at all times, there are no fees for having the checking account. If you've been grumbling about your bank charging fees for just about everything, check out what TD has to offer.
