You can't pay online directly to Raritan Bay FCU. Payment can be made through another company and it charges $10 for the privilege of paying on line. You are given a coupon book to pay by mail. It's like an old Christmas Club. This company needs to move with times.

Got my debit card stolen in Vegas, 11/8/23. Called 11/9/23 to let them know, was told I'd be sent a new one within 2 weeks. After 2 weeks of not receiving my card, I decided to call. They said nothing was ever issued, and they don't mail cards, I have to go pick it up from the bank (which is 25 minutes from my house..) ok whatever, no problem.. I then get a email saying $10 was taken out of my account for "plastic" for the new card?? I was never even told I would have to pay, they literally just took $10 out of my account without telling me. When I go to pick up the card, the woman says "oh your card was stolen so you shouldn't have to pay" to which I replied , "they already took the money out of my account without telling me.." I get a response of "oh" . And that was it. I proceeded to tell her I had 3 other credit cards stolen, all of which were replaced, no charge, and sent to my house within 3 or 4 days. Still nothing. They wouldnt give me my $10 back. Horrible customer service here. Makes me want to switch banks.

Went in there once with singles to deposit and the one teller started making sarcastic comments the whole time about having to count singles. You'd think you wouldn't have to count money working at a bank? It's kinda disgusting to allow staff who behave like that to interact with the public.

Closed my Christmas club. They charge $20 for that pleasure. It was all my money no interest. Crazy if you ask me.

Probably one of my least favorite places to go to with customer service issues. I've never gotten a straight answer yet, just the runaround or vague responses at best. I am not sure how "well other banks do it too" is remotely helpful in explaining the situation. I should have left years ago when the bank lost valuable account information.

For the first time in two years I Missed two payments due to my covid layoff they took my car and told me I can’t get it back unless I pay the full loan. Loan specialist on the phone (AVA) won’t even speak to me & explain why. She simply says (sounding annoyed with me) “you didn’t pay we’re not financing this car anymore”. Very rude & not helpful at all no matter how polite I am. I’ve never dealt with this type unprofessionalism at a bank before. You would think I personally owe her money.

Horrible !!!! Had my car loan here made my payments on time for two years straight. Lost my job due to covid missed one payment and they took my car. I called for help and to pay three payments in one to get my car out. A very rude rep (Ava) told me "no sorry you have to pay off the whole car to get it back. I explained my situation she said "well you didn't pay that's how it works here" in all my years of living I've never witnessed such horrible customer service at a bank ! Maybe at a Jamaican restaurant but not at a bank! I asked for a manager and was told there was no one else to speak to lol. I went there and they had someone come out and talk to me while playing with their tongue ring in their mouth the whole time. This bank is trash !
