“I wanted to write this review to say what a great guy Mike the owner is. I went there with my Infiniti QX60 do to a sound I was hearing in the engine. He went for a test drive with me and gave me his honest professional opinion, then proceeded to help me see if I had a warranty so I wouldn’t have to pay out of pocket. I did through Infiniti. He did try to scam me or take any money from me in fact he was a genuinely nice guy who did nothing but help me and saved me thousands of dollars. Great guy!!!”

“I've heard it said before that 'any mechanic can change parts, what makes a good mechanic is diagnostics'. Rob at Octane Garage is the best of the best when it comes to diagnostics. I've been to several garages with an EVAP issue for three months and no one could find the problem but Rob found the issue on the very first day and also found an underlying issue with something that would cause me a problem down the road. Strongly recommended. Best garage in central New Jersey. You won't be sorry for bringing your car here.”

“My vehicle was delivered to this repair shop after it broke down on the side of the road. My boyfriend found the shop and had it towed there. I was initially resistant to the repair shop checking all aspects of the vehicle because I had a previous evaluation done stating the starter wasn't working. However, the shop's leader said he would do what I asked, but the car hasn't been fully checked. After further examination, the shopkeeper found that the engine was blown. Called Leo and said to bring the car over, he took care of me in 15minutes - that is with interruptions from his delivery. LOL. He charged me a minimal $. He is honest and an excellent mechanic.”
“Been working with Dave & Darren at Mike's Tire & Auto since they were at the Shell station some 30 years ago, and they're totally trustworthy and do great work. Today Dave hooked us up again, reset engine light that came on for the fuel purge system on 2015 Terrain for no charge. We'll have to get a new purge valve if it happens again for $2-300. My wife gave them a barrel of peanut butter pretzels and they were thankful. Most trustworthy mechanics ever! Right here in Spotswood!”

“The owner and his team here are great. Several of the mechanics have been here for years. Pricing is right, they are super friendly, and they don’t seem to try and sell you on unnecessary nonsense. They are accommodating with scheduling and they definitely appreciate their customers. When one of my cars was getting older they started work, figured out it was a bigger issue than expected, and then put it back together without any charge so I could just go sell it.

UPDATE TO ADD:
August 2020: when 3 mechanic places local to where the Malibu mysteriously disabled could not figure out the issue, once again Pak came to the rescue! Took the time to investigate a few things and it's up and running again.
August 2019:
Honest, extremely knowledgeable, friendly and patient is the owner Pak of Prestige Auto Inc in Sayreville! I am more and more impressed and appreciative of his assistance with inspecting my car & only repairing what is necessary at a fair price. Repeat business is a sure thing by me for this and for the times not being charged looking over the car to make sure nothing is in need of repair at the time! Thanks Pak and your team!!!
Winter 2019:
I now have gone to Pak over a handful of times and he and his staff are very fair and honest with being willing to check my concerns for my car and conservatively tend to the repairs if needed. I truly feel he has his customer's best interests at heart and that he is very honest plus extremely knowledgeable!
October 2018:
A friend has been using this repair shop for years and now that my teenager has a used car, I am destined to need a repair shop after years not needing one with new leased cars. Pak and his crew are very friendly, knowledgeable and identified my car issue very quickly getting us back on the road in a couple of days. I appreciated the conservative approach of trying one part at a time to first test if it fixed the problem. It may take a few trys to completely fix but it seems to be less costly for me this way.
