“Dr. Debbie Ferro has been my therapist for over 5 years and it feels like I have known her for much longer. I first saw her for severe anxiety to the point I was on so many medications I thought I would never be "normal" again. After the first meeting, I was already feeling comfortable and calmer. After one week in her care, I was able to stop medication and was on the road to better health. Throughout the years I found myself doubting if I could ever follow my dream to become a medical professional due to my overwhelming anxiety. Dr. Ferro never gave up on me and guided me through some of the worst and best moments in my life. She never missed a phone call, canceled an appt or ever doubted me. She pushed me to keep moving forward. Thanks to her, I wouldn't be where I am today...As a Physician Assistant, I cannot thank this woman enough for getting my life back. She has been a longterm mentor, motherly figure and above all an exceptional friend. From the bottom of my heart, I believe everyone should have a "Dr. Debbie Ferro" in their life. She saved me and I am forever grateful!”

“Our first time at UCPAC's Hamilton Stage was very positive: We saw high-level acting, singing, musicianship and stagecraft (via, Sondheim's "A Little Night Music") that was closer to Broadway than to community theater, at a reasonable price. We sat close up, in an easy, intimate venue, with free parking nearby. We'll be checking out other productions there, for sure.”

“I realized last minute that my individual tax returns were too complicated to file on my own this year. I'm glad I stumbled across Adachi Financial Services on google. Daniel was really prompt and professional. He had my state and federal complete within a day and a half and for a very reasonable fee. Thanks!”

“I came to this organization by way of Proceed Inc 1126 Dickinson St Elizabeth NJ with a referral from Yair Gomez. He took my application and filled out the request and sent to Furniture Assist . A few weeks later I was given a date to bring a truck and use it to get the items I needed such as bed ,linens kitchen and living room items as well a lamps ,chairs and table. Dawson and his dedicated team of volunteers makes this such a valuable asset to the community it serves . Special thanks to Ms Friedman for her interest in what brought me to the establishment. Again thanks for your support.”

“They put a lot of effort to keep things as normal as possible. Their children's programs are great. And they also do birthday parties. In fact, they work with local businesses to get food like pizzas and cakes and/or cupcakes. So you know you will get the best value for your money and will keep helping local businesses.”

“They have most of the supplies and uniform bits in stock, along with a lot of other gear. Hours are ok if you don't have a job, being closed on weekends is silly, but the hours are always changing, so be sure to check b4 you go.”

“Beautifully carved pumpkins. A very talented team. However, I felt the experience was a bit short for the price. I drove an hour round trip and it took about 15 minutes or less to drive through and thats only because the car in front of us kept stopping (or else it would have been quicker) If adding more pumpkins, in order to make it a longer event, was too time/financially consuming then there could have been other Halloween decorations to be fillers. Still very scenic and creative.”

“The Berkeley Heights Y is a brand-new, modern, well-equipped fitness facility with tons of great programs for families, children, seniors, and singles. There's childcare and camp and afterschool training. There's a beautiful pool for the summer, pickleball for all ages. But the building isn't what makes it so special: The Y's focuses on welcoming everyone, regardless of race, religion or personal beliefs, and providing financial assistance for those who aren't able to afford it, due to temporary set-backs or more permanent challenges. Personally, I feel well-supported here -- not just another member making the cash register ring for some corporate fitness chain. Being part of the national Y system, the staff get great training and the systems like the mobile app are top notch.”

“I have been very blessed in the past few years of being able to qualify for the services of New Eyes. They are truly the unsung hero's of so many of us men, women and children, who do not have the ability to pay for something that would normally be way out of our own abilities to have. Not only that, they provide several choses in stylish frames. They don't look as though you got them from some sort of institutionalized place, this is especially important when improving self-esteem and confidence, I am sure for those who are trying to learn how to read for the first time, or for some who have felt that having poor sight has left them feeling that they aren't smart, or even causing them to feel unworthy of looking and feeling 100%. They quickly turn your dream of good eyesight and being able to keep up with everyone around you into a miracle in an amazingly short time. All you need to do is send off your information, and they turn it around in record time. Before long, so many things you didn't know, or see, or understand or believe...happen. Dreams really do come true! Thank you for your help and for my new eyes. Being a diabetic, and having to use bifocals, well that wasn't even a challenge for these folks. I don't know who they are, but I know they are angels!”

“This is an incredibly well designed building in this very vibrant neighborhood. The center of Jewish life at Rutgers University. RU Hillel serves Jewish students. I have not visited the cafe but I heard it is amazing. There is an amazing exhibit at the front of the building. It is a Mezuzah made from the remnants of an Iron Dome missile!”
