John and Joan's nursery section is jam packed with with healthy plants and flowers that make the big box stores offerings look like leftovers. Its definitely worth the drive to this location for the great offerings and the friendly conversation from the 2nd, 3rd and 4th generation family members who run this little gem.”

“Greg and staff are knowledgeable, honest, super friendly. Very quick and efficient repair of my mower. They know mowers and small engines like none other. While they service equipment for the area lawn service companies they are very user friendly for local homeowners like me. Don’t be turned off by the industrial storefront. They also sell new mowers, blowers, trimmers, generators and accessories like gas cans (the good quality ones unlike those sold at the big box stores). They will be my go-to for both service and sales from this point on!”

“Brite Nites was fantastic! The themes were really fun, and there is a spaceship scene that is phenomenal. A contractor working for the arboretum actually built it! There is also a fun area at the end of the walk for kiddie carnival games (corn hole, etc). I thought it was really well done. Of course nowhere as large as The Great Jack-O-Lantern Blaze, but a great local alternative and the ticket cost goes to the arboretum as this is an annual fundraising event.”
“I recently came in on 2 occasions to rent a truck from Home Depot Rental. Gil and Jarod were instrumental in making this rental experience less stressful. “Order ten yards of brown dirt . The company was easy to deal with and delivery was on the money . Ps they have brown dirt which is dirt screened from the area . The 2 nd option is organic dirt which is only good for a skim coat since the organic material break down to almost nothing over two year span .”

“what a splendid visit we had! We came on a weekday so it really wasnt so busy. The place is huuuuge so we spent a good amount of time there and enjoyed every minute lol the plants are really well taken care of and so beautiful! they also have "rare" tropical plants there such as their variegated monsteras which were all so pretty! anyway, We visited before thanksgiving and there were already christmas decors. We loved the holiday vibes and took so many pictures. Honestly every corner is a photo spot! it was that pretty! the staff were very pleasant as well which i appreciated! aside from plants they have gift items, home decors or holiday things. the even have pretty peacocks and a curious hen the day we visited lol so cute! Now if they only had an espresso/coffee shop this would be even more perfect! lol”

“I used Metuchen Mower in the past with a riding lawnmower that I have and they did great services then so now I have a problem with my snow blower so I called after hours on a Saturday to leave a message being that they were closed, Mr Gary called me back within a half hour to take the time to listen and reassured me that they have pick up and delivery so that I can get my snow blower working. “Despite some of the other negative Google Reviews, I can honestly say that I am well pleased with the service that I received in my mulch delivery yesterday (5/17/22).
This isn't by any means to diminish what others have experienced, but I just wanted to note my experience.
I was told that the delivery would be either in the morning or early afternoon on the day that I called which was around 8am. It was delivered around 10:30am.
I will most definitely continue purchasing my Mulch from here in the future.
