Working with Amanda to plan my son's bar mitzvah was an amazing experience. She is creative, organized, professional, and perhaps most importantly, a lot of fun to work with. I instantly felt comfortable working with her and she understood the vibe we were going for immediately. She pulled off a truly incredible event that all of our friends and family were raving about and the guest of honor dubbed the "best night of his life". She adapted easily and without flinching to our changing the size of the party fairly significantly on her and everything was executed perfectly. Highly recommend working with Amanda, especially if you appreciate original, creative, custom ideas! Nothing boring here!

This was our second wedding. It was relatively small. We got this…until we didn’t. I can remember the day my wife called me telling me she felt overwhelmed as everyone was calling her and needing her time to figure out the smallest of details. Our Florist, who was a nanny for my kids years ago, strongly recommended Amanda for a month of planner. I was skeptical at first until I realized this was the best decision we could make to relieve the stress from our big day. She is a true professional who has so much energy, experience, knowledge, understanding of the business and tremendous interpersonal skills. She quickly gathered the details of our vendors and began to take the lead. She literally saved our day and made it look so effortless. Her attention to detail is unparalleled. Our day of schedule or “show flow” was detailed so everyone (vendors and us) knew exactly what was going on. I think we have already recommended her 2-3 times…and when your vendors tell you that was the best planner they’ve ever worked with….its a sign. To say she made us smile through Chaos…is a sever understatement. She is absolutely amazing. If you’re lucky enough to find her where she doesn’t have a wedding already booked, book her immediately.

Amanda was top notch. Given the unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances (such as rain) she was able to handle herself not only professionally but without losing her smile. It was not my wedding but one I attended and I could tell her attention to detail is leaps and bounds above the rest, and I’ve been to a lot of poorly planned events. If I ever get married Amanda is the first person I’m going to call. As a matter of fact… she does all events and I may do something big for my birthday. Who knows? But what I do know is I’ll be booking with Amanda and Smiling Through Chaos. (p.s. you did a fantastic job. Be proud of your work!)

Amanda helped us plan our daughter’s Bat Mitzvah (2 different parties over the course of the same day!) which ended up being everything we had hoped for and more! Amanda and her team are creative, super resourceful and lots of fun. All out amazing and couldn’t have been possible without her!
