Not a rating just a heads up. This place and Mikes have been closed down. It is sold and they will build 16 homes there. Price is a very reasonable 1.99 - 4.25 million. I am sure this will qualify as affordable housing. Times are a changing. So long to fun place from years gone by.

Located on a dead end, low traffic, 15 steps to the beach, good restaurants all within a mile, rooms aren't the best but it is great for kids

Been going there on vacation for 58 consecutive years. It broke 💔 my heart because it is being knocked down for private homes in January!!

Have been going there for 25 years. Two years ago was the last straw! The rooms are disgusting! The smell of mold is sickening, and when you complain about the roaches, they blame the restaurant! I'm very happy to hear this is the last season, I'm thinking of going to watch the demolition! I wish someone would buy it, level it, and put up a new hotel, and run it properly!

Simple, clean and quiet. Emphasis is the Beach, as it should be. Makes you feel like it's just you and the beach. Restaurants within walking distance. Very affordable. Staff always pleasant and helpful. I am very disappointed that private homes and condos will be replacing this treasure. Another jewel removed in the name of progress.

Sad to see it go. While the rooms and service are basic and dated the location is great!

I come here every year. I love it, nobody bothers you, everything at fingertips, quiet, peaceful.

Friends brought me here while on vacation visiting them. It's a charming motel. Rooms are large and clean. You get a balcony, too. From our room, we could see a tiny bit of both the bay and the ocean from the front and back windows. We stayed in room 222. Visiting in September is quite quiet.

I used to love this place until they allowed political flags to be hung from their balconies.

Place used to be absolute perfection, that was in the seventies and eighties. Never had a problem until recently. Whenever we visit off season this is our place.spacious rooms quiet area but recently after the last 2 stays we will not be back anytime soon. Roaches in the bathroom, and severe itching when trying to sleep. Maybe the laundry soap, maybe not. But the kicker was when we pulled back the comforter there was a large poop stain and it was recent. Didn’t bother going to desk because they are not here at night. This place has gone down hill and it is very sad. I hope they make improvements soon, because the people that have used this place for decades deserve better.
