“One of the nicest places to stay on Long Beach Island. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive. The rooms are generously sized and well appointed. Our double queen room had a large kitchenette capable of comfortably serving the needs of four people. Parking is conveniently located in a garage underneath the hotel. Valet service is available. The hotel's restaurant and bar serve upscale, yet family friendly meals and drinks. A pool and rooftop area were unavailable during our stay given we visited during the off-season in early March. During prime beach weather season, I could see this being a very popular spot to rest and have a good time.”

“Great location. Private beach access. Plenty of out door seating and showers. Hotel room access convenience. Great views of the ocean and the city. Quiet even though pet friendly. Cleanliness was acceptable but could be better. Beds were comfortable and had clean towel and sheets extra pillows.”

“the island guest house is our happy place and gives us such immeasurable joy year after year. Between the joyful hospitality and friendship of JoAnne, Mark, Christina, & staff, the deliciously garden-to-kitchen breakfasts, and the whole experience of beach chairs, bikes, and games, this place has it all and above. The details of infused water from herbs in the garden to ensuring each guest has the most comfortable and excellent stay does not go unnoticed. We thank you for our previous memories and look forward to summers to come!

“Great place always stay here when I visit LBI! Quiet and at night you can see the lights from the lighthouse! (JOKE) You can stand in the middle of the street in front of North Shore Inn at midnight and stand there for 30 mins facing south and there are no cars driving only the traffic light!”

“The White Whale Motel is just a short walk away from the L.B.I. lighthouse and the Bay Area. The sunset is spectacular, and you can see the lighthouse from the suite we had. It has two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and all the amenities to cook a home-cooked meal in the kitchen. It has a lovely sun room and a small deck.
The suite is a bit dated, but for me that adds to the cozy charm of the 1970's.”

Thank you, Kaitlin, for your help in making it an awesome, stress-free event!!”

“Be careful you book the right type of room. They have an annex on the next block. Not sure carpet is a good idea for beach front. Gum needs cleaning from walk ways to beach as people, especially kids run barefoot.”
